trading gold for cash

I love this game, but I don't like being teased with gold. Seems like everytime there is something "new" from the trading floor, it's just a tease. I would love to buy some of the things offered, but I don't have the gold for them. My suggestion is: WHY NOT LET US TRADE CASH FOR GOLD? If you can already trade gold for cash, this should also be an option, especially for the newcomers that don't have any gold, or for the elite spenders that can't seem to hold on to their gold (like me), because of trying to win personal missions.

While I'm sure all us would love for this happen, you have to remember GGS has staff to pay, energy bills, servers, buildings, insurance etc etc. to fund. And it needs to make a profit. In other words it needs an income and gets that from us, the players, buying gold.

It doesn't hurt to ask and put this forward as in idea, but I wouldn't really expect this to happen

That would be good, but I doubt you'd get much for farm cash

At higher levels you need your cash for the expensive upgrades and research projects. I don't see it as teasing really, it's there for those who can and/or want to buy gold to gain certain benefits. There are many players who never buy gold, only using what they earn within the game. I think it is great that this is possible for them to do. I also think it is great that if you choose to buy gold you have some benefits from doing so.
GGS employ hundreds of people and it is a growing company, their goal is to employ hundreds more. As Rhon said, the gold players are helping GGS in meeting their financial obligations, money has to come from somewhere.
