From Field To Orchard And Beyond: Corn!
Super Space Girl Here, I do hope these tips help you.
Well here it goes.
With -50% running cost: Starting with Corn.
One level 2 Apple Orchard makes 355 Apples. It requires 1 bag of Fertilizer to run.
A level 2 Silo can make 1 bag of Fertilizer out of 205 dung.
One level 3 Chicken Coop can make 12 dung every time it produces Eggs.
It takes 10 Bags of Chicken Feed to run the Chicken Coop once.
A level 2 Mill can make 10 bags of Chicken Feed out of 29 corn.
One level 3 Field cans make 17 corn for $52.
To make 205 dung you will need to run the Chicken Coop 18 times.
That means you will need 180 bags of Chicken Feed.
This will require 522 Corn.
To get this much Corn you will need to run your Field 31 times.
Corn takes 5 minutes to grow. If you have 3 level 3 fields and
you are running them at the same time, then you will need to run them 11
times each, which = 55 minutes of growing. This will = $1,716 in running costs.
A level 2 Mill can produce Chicken Feed in 3 minutes and 36 seconds for each
bag. The Mill can make 60 feed out a time. So you will need to run the mill 3 times
at max amount, Which = 1 hour and 4 minutes and 48 seconds of producing.
This will = $198 in running costs.
A level 3 Chicken Coop produces 145 Eggs and 12 dung, It will take 13 minutes
and cost $16 to run. You need to run it 18 times, Which = a running time of
3 hours and 54 minutes. This will produce 216 dung and 2610 Eggs.
The running costs = $288, but you will receive $7,830 from selling the Eggs.
Now you can make Fertilizer at your Silo. A level 2 Silo will use 205 dung
and take 34 minutes to produce. It will be $639 for the running cost.
Now that you have Fertilizer you can go and use it on your level 2 Apple
Orchard. It will take 3 hours for your Apple to grow. The when you harvest it you
will have 355 Apple and 9 Leaves. [Leaves are for the Composter to make Humus.]
It will = $1,523 in running costs, but you will receive $15,620 from selling the Apples.
For Gourmet Farm -7% running cost and Level 2 Restaurant:
If you have a Gourmet Farm then you can use your Apple to make Apple
Sauce instead of just selling them. Apple Sauce uses 100 Apples and Cost
$464 to make. It takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to makes.
You can make 3 batches of Apple Sauce, which = $1,392 in running costs,
300 Apples and 7 hours and 30 minutes of time to make. You will receive
$27,150 from the Apple Sauce and $2,420 from selling the left over Apples.
You can also turn your Eggs into Omelets instead of selling them.
To make an Omelet it takes 20 minutes, 100 Eggs and $56 for running
costs. You make $1,400 for each Omelet you've made. You have enough
Eggs to make 17 Omelet, Which = $952 in running costs. It will take 5 hours and
40 minutes to make all 17 Omelets. Your Profits will = $23,800 from Omelets and
$240 from selling left over Eggs.

That is why this is called "From Field To Orchard and Beyond: Corn!"
I will be making two more threads one that starts with Cabbage and the
Other will starts with Wheat. But this one is just about Corn and then The Chicken Coop
and so on and so fourth.
I have made a calculation for the produce from the rest... in http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/showthread.php?40884-Purely-Profit/page2#post726322 post.
As i have more than -80% running cost i have not included that.
i will add that in tomorrow when my brain is working again.
Been doing a lot of Math today, got a little board towards the end
that is one of the reasons i did not add that in there but i will tomorrow.
From what superspace has given i think she is not more than level 32. So for that level omlet is the profitable one.
Well first i should let you all know that i am at level 40!
But i don't have the level 4 Restaurant yet.
I am also writing this Thread so that everyone will be able to use it.
That is why all the buildings and stuff are there lower levels,
So that lower level players will be able to use this tip thingy.
I am going to put in the Omelets but not Apple Pie.
Hope you all understand.
Yours Truly,
Super Space Girl
But i do have to tell you that i did
use a calculator. But it was still a lot of work.
I wrote everything down in a note book before hand,
Then i typed every thing here.
Most people have posted here about what a forgot to add,
So you are the first one to just say "Good Job".
And i thank you for that.
Yours Truly,
Super Space Girl
I am sure it will help too many players and encourage us to keep looking for better ways to improve our farm incomes.
I love helping others and i love Math so this was the perfect way
to do both of those things at the same time.
And make sure you keep an eye out for the my next one which will be titled
"From Field To Orchard And Beyond: Cabbage!"
I will probably start that thread on Monday or Tuesday.
Thanks again for your kind words.
Yours Truly,
Super Space Girl
I don't have the brains or the patience to do that.
I will make a post one day with jokes or poems or something like that
u r smart space

Your A like one of the best Deputies ever!
Thanks so much Monica7953!
When i put my mind to something it is pretty easy.
But if i don't put my mind to it, My mind leaves the building and forgets to feed the cows. LOL
