I would like to see smaller decorations maybe a 2X4 in size, so that we can use up the dead spots on our farms .

I'd like to see even smaller decorations too, 2x2, I hate dead spots. Maybe we could have sunflowers or a flowering bush, or a scarecrow, a dog kennel or a dog. They probably wouldn't add much decoration value but it would look really nice.

    I think it's part of the game, like a jigsaw, you have to put everything together in the smartest way, to fit everything (o;
"Unfortunately", I wan't my farm, not only to profit most, but I also like it to look nice, which I'm still working on.

I agree Menace, he would be awesome!!

But about the small decorations, they would be nice ofcourse, but on the other hand I agree with Molly: it's part of the game to make it all fit and I like that a lot! I am called the Puzzle Queen by my cooperative :) In all my 3 farms, I have 2 free squares in total and I do seem to manage to make it look nice.

I'd definitely would love some more additions in decorations, more choice in the different sizes. I get the giggles looking at how many icecream vans I have on my foodfarm, but I wouldn't want to have so many on main and flowers, because they have nothing to do with food.

Rogier - I have often thought that some smaller decorations would be perfect to fill in some of those empty spaces.

They also said that it's highly unlikely that they'll add smaller decos for the reason Malik stated :)

I would like to see some new decorations added that are 2x2 or even just one square in size for those hard to fill areas. For example maybe a lamp post on a single square or shrub on a 2x2 or even a potted plant or even a mail box.

The thing is, that 2x2 would be our absolute minimum. If you check the existing deco, you will see that the right and lower area of each one is occupied by a little frame of nothing - this is our walkway, where the workers, dog etc go through :)

If we add a 2x2 decoration at some point, it either would have very, very little happiness or would be really expensive - I don't say it's completely out of the question, but at least right now there are no plans for this. A 1x1 deco won't happen at all :)

Yes. I started the same post long ago, but I agree playing "Tetris" with the decorations is part of the game. If you fit everything using your brain you can have your farm full of decor.

2x2 would be absolutely wonderful!!!! Even 3x3 or 2x3.

I have seen farms where they line everything up in rows. This solves the problem of not having any dead space, but is also pretty danged boring. I like my farm to at least look like a real place. Granted that has nothing to do with game play, but since I stare at this thing way too long, it's nice to have the ability to decorate it.

Even if happiness were at a bare minimum. Or perhaps only if you bought more than one. It's more a matter of putting cool things in the farm.

(I'd also like to see more variety in decor. SICK of the same old stuff. Events help, but usually what happens is you replace the low happiness stuff with the better stuff. And again, rows of the same thing form. zzzzz.)

Smaller size decorations would be great or allow us the option to upgrade our current decos to a higher happiness level.

On the Facebookpage I saw that Lana created a chicken out of sand. Are we getting a sandpit someday?!

    Hey Mirja3,

we already have a sandpit-like area in one of the decorations.
The Hawaiian Beach shows a turtle made of sand, created by Lana even.

We might think of some more decorations in the future and are very glad for all the inspiring feedback given in this and other threads.
Very small decorations probably won't happen, though, as we would like you to stay focused on finding strategies to make the most efficient buildings fit on your farms. ^^

    Regards,
    Steffi

I have noticed that players, especially on the very high levels, have farm components arranged in a very regimented way to take up less space. I like the mix of items, which does leave gaps. But I am OCD that way. I don't even like my farm animals shelters around the houses ... the smell. lol

LOL those would be awesome my Grandma had a few of those in her front yard in Monterey :D We could sure use some 2x and 3x decos. The pile of goods should be more like 3x3 and the wooden wagon like 3x4 for their happiness level. Some more 5x as well there is only the Lake , Tractor , and event decos for those with enough time to finish.

I'm really fond of how everything on the farm looks. It is a pleasure to watch.

I'm missing a 5x3 decoration. Maybe we could have a clothesline, so we can dry our landry outside.

Or a lawn behind the house.

    I dont like gnomes...

I just want some animation with the decoration, simple ones like the house it only blows smoke everynow and then... plus it would be nice if the decoration produces bonus bubbles like trees n wildflowers produce +1 or +5 leaves.. etc.

Mitoa, the Community decoration has an animated fire - you'll have to try for one of those. :)

    True,
and I get that the animation is slowing the game down.. but now and then it would be a fun surprise to see something happens with things around your own farm. hence the second point.

Nice way to lure people in to the community Kat... lol. grass is always greener in... community? lol...

This is a little different from what you'all are talking about, but still about decorations. My suggestion is; have decorations the coop can buy, for the other members in the coop. They could be offered through Jake & Jack in the naughty or nice. Decorations that are Big and take up a lot of room, maybe only 5 HP & ones that are small - worth maybe 50 or 60 HP. This would give the coop a way of rewarding & a way for the members of the coop to gag one another. What do ya think?
