  • Ha Ha Ha  Michiru if you had  got the rewards a second time Nafaru or Latten would have been on the first jet over to reclaim the wrongly given rewards back, and probably knock over your water barrels in doing so. . I had this little glitch this time with the bee's, never had it before.. got the last bee and the little rewards yet when I looked at the little yellow car, it seemed that I was still one bee missing, I just thought I had imagined the rewards, later however all the bee's were there

I guess I had the same bug.. Harvesting my fields an completed the event without actually getting that last one. However, the very next field had that missing bee and then the beehive finally updated..
  • Morning all, thanks for your replies.
Logged on this morning and the bee was there.  So didnt get another from the sunflowers.

Good suggestion there gizmo. I do corn and cabbage during the day and wheat at night and 9 out of 10 times I am able to find all the bees!
  • You do know that now GGS know we have found it easy, the Bee's will end up like the rocking horse poo and very very hard to find. ha ha ha
  • I'm new to the game and have just started this event. I've already found 2 bees from my corn field however there is no record of it in my inventory. Is this normal? How are you supose to keep record of how many bees you have found?

Leanne just look up at the top of your farm and you will see the lady with the yellow Volkswagen, click on her and you will see your bees in the bee hive.

Open the event and look at the hive, it will show you how many you have collected.
  • I have used all my sunflowers, violets, and roses; in addition to planting regular wheat, wildflowers, and corn and only gotten 3 bees. Normally, if I planted regular wheat I can get at least 1 or 2 per field. What gives. Only 2 days left

The bee event has always been hard and only runs 3 days total. Throw some premium humus on your crops for a better drop rate.

the event does not and should not require special seeds, for what you get you are wasting special; seeds for the possibility of special seeds which makes no sense, it is not a criticism just a fact, use your special seeds on events that matter, such as getting a flag as a reward or a special deco.

A suggestion that I have and it has paid off, I planted corn non stop for a long time and won the event, also, i have used othe regular crops  to win it

  • I don't think humus has any effect on the chance of getting a drop.

As kbahr007 says, ordinary corn gives the best drop rate for bees, if you plant non-stop.

  • Well, thank you for the advice but I did plant corn non stop on the first day because that is what I got the first bee from. As for special seeds, I was trying to get "a" bee, not all of them. As I said, I have planted several items because of all the event happening at the same time. Every person in my co-op is having the same difficulty so it is not something I am or am not doing. The flyers are coming out of all harvests regularly.... but no bees!
  • I also need to add that I was using my special seeds during a co-op event

It also depends on your field levels and yes humus helps increase the drop rate
  • I have 14 level-1 fertile fields, and I usually get at least 5 bees when I harvest my overnight wheat (no humus).

That is a very nice return, then try it with humus once to see if you'll get more bees the next time it comes a round. I have 8 fields total 7 reg 1 fertile 4 of the reg fields are maxed(lvl 7) 3 @ lvl 6 same with the 1 fertile field I grow wheat almost every night if I throw some humus on it I usually get 3 or 4 bees. If I do not then I usually get 2 or 3 bees. Sunflowers always gives me a bee with or without humus, I suggest with as you get more sunflowers to sell. ;)

The fact that we are arguing about it says something about how many different ways people have gotten the bees, the fact is i have never done any better using humus and have noticed that the more i harvest crops gives me a better drop. Using humus, special seeds, and level have not made anyt difference. The only other factor is luck.

Flyers and bees are two separate events.

The flyers are for the mushroom event (check around your farm to find mushrooms and collect flyers from harvesting fields and bldgs).  The bees are Eva's and she's lost them again, poor girl!  They only come from your fields.  Try switching crops, and if push comes to shove, plant sunflowers as a last resort.  They used to give (I haven't played in 5 months) 1 bee per field of flowers.
  • I've been farming daily since the most recent bee hunt began. I have two bees with 43 hours to go. I've never had problems getting bees before. What's the problem?

  • Ros7 (US1)Ros7 (US1) Posts: 202
Oh is weird, this 2 last times I had also issues to find them but I got all of them, yesterday I was trying to get my 3 last ones and I was growing even special event seeds and nothing, finally I got all of them growing normal corn, try to grow fast seeds as corn, wildflowers, alfalfa or rutabaga, as much you can, surelly you will find all of them before it finish :)
  • I seem to do best with ordinary corn, and using a timer so I can replant as soon as it's ripe.

I also get bees with my overnight wheat.

I never use special crops when trying to get bees.

I agree, plant regular corn constantly. The alfalfa is also good for getting them
  • It is 10:09 - the bee lady is gone. So much for getting 43 more hours!!!
  • ok then
  • Still thinking we ought to be getting more bees from regular fields. Just harvested fertile fields (have 9) with levels 1 -4. One bee in 3 hours. Have no sunflowers. Planted roses, alfalfa, wildflowers, and corn. Know that planting wheat overnight will produce some; however, I cannot be on the game that many hours. Same thing happened with mushrooms, candy, and other similar events. It is disappointing to work hard but get nearly to the end and be disappointed. Even with certificates in missions now, I end up end 5th place doing all I can do while some farms 3 times my size kick it with huge amounts. Thought we were going to be more equally matched.

I got 2 planting corn all day.  Someone suggested sunflowers. I planted some and got 6.  This is the first time I tried the sunflowers.  (I also had one pop out of the doghouse balloon thingie.)

Are you sure you got a bee from the doghouse? The dog doesn't give bees, they only come from fields. If you do have bees in the doghouse, you may want to get rid of them before they sting your doggie. :D
