New farm

I'm at level 25 and able to buy the gourmet farm. But is it a good time to this now or should I wait untill I'm at a higher level. Is there anybody who has a recommendation.

I will suggest that purchase gourmet farm. If you have main farm you should have gourmet farm. You collect Milk , eggs , apples , cherries , and cabbages from your main farm. You can also use them on your gourmet farm. It's very profitable.

Personally I would hold off Michael. Build your $ up first. I read through many threads before I took the plunge and that was by far the best advice I was given. I love the Gourmet Farm because it makes great money, but realistically you need a good $100,000 behind you (maybe even more) to make it into something right from the beginning. You need many workers. So I went in with $150,000 and I have been fine ever since. This allowed me to comfortably put in a few houses and a few decorations, then start running the restaurant. A couple of weeks later I easily earn nearly a million dollars a day by having everyhting active overnight and a couple of hours actively farming during the day. You can get it right from the beginning, but from what I have seen the feedback from many is that you struggle. But that's just my two cents worth...

I agree with Prince manish because i got quite a few x points with the first tasks on the Gourmet farm, and that made it possible for me to level up and buy land . Buying land ment i could place more decor, my happiness rate went up, and i earned more money because of that. Good luck with your Gourmet farm if you choose to buy one :)

He-he, thanks guys. I think I will purchase the gourmet farm with 200,000 in reserve just to be on the safe side.
You can't just save the game and redo it :-)

Everyone here is somewhat correct. While the gourmet farm is a nice way to boost up your xp a little from the initial tasks and it is quite profitable since it uses things you are already growing in your main farm, you can't get anywhere without a little bit of cash on hand. I think the most important thing is that you have a stable and profitable main farm first before you go into the 2nd farm. If you're struggling on the main farm, adding a 2nd one to juggle costs and management is only going to make things a little more hectic for you. Just keep in mind you have to be a little patient and things will get sorted out and you'll be fine :)

I waited a long time before I bought the gourmet farm, I think I was level 35 or something. And I really don't regret that. Since you can only build or upgrade one thing at a time on one of the two farms it will slow your progress on the first farm down if you invest a lot of time in the second farm.

Now I have both but I decided to hold off on the development of my second farm because my first farm needs work. I would also suggest that you wait a whil buying the bakery. The restaurant will give you a profit by just making cherry juice, the garden will produce tomatoes or sugar and you will be able to sell that. In the beginning the bakery will just cost you.
