Donate Inventory - can I do this?

A week ago I joined a coop, and sadly this week I had to leave it. My life took a turn of events that is going to greatly impact the number of hours I can play this game - I felt it would be best if they found a player who could participate more that I will be able to.

Now I have all of this stuff in my inventory, which only continues to grow everyday, and I would like to find a way to use it to help other players in the game. What am I going to do with 283 tickets, 231 tractors, and so on...

If I understand this right (like I said, only a member for a week) you can only contribute to a challenge if you are a member of the co-op. Is this correct?

If yes, can I join a co-op, give them my stuff for thier challenges, and then unjoin from a co-op - repeatedly?

And if yes to this question - could one of the board monitors advise me of how/where in this forum to post it and/or how to go about it?

Please note, this is only 'inventory' items-not $ or gold.

Thanks

Thank you for your kind words. I'm not leaving the game. I couldn't possibly give this up-but the amount of time that I will be able to play will be greatly reduced. Which is why I would like to have the abiltiy to help others. Hopefully one of the board monitors will have time (boy are they busy) to respond to my initial question....or....if anyone reading this is interested let me know here!

I really don't know New Farm. If there they have a spare space for you to join couldn't you just stay a member, until such time they want the space for someone else who would be permanent?

But I would think it was OK. If you were a second account, trying to 'game' the system, that would be a no-no, but I can't see anything wrong with your plan if you do go ahead with it. I'll ask for you too. See if we can get a definitive answer

    Hi New Farm

A discussion was held and the verdict is yes you may join a coop to donate your collections and then leave. This is because your intent is to help the coop.

Please make sure that the coop understands that you are only joining to donate collections so that they do not expect you to help them with projects when you have already said you cant play as much as you would like.

I hope you find you are able to play more soon. Take care New Farm.

    Hi FarmerTess

Thank you for getting back to me. I will make sure that the co-op CLEARLY understands.

So if anyone out there would like some 'inventoy' for challenges - please msg me through the game at The New Farm (no 2 at the end). I just want to join, donate, un-join. Will not partake in the challenge. No money will be donated. No gold will be donated.

    Happy Easter to all!

Not sure really how this would work. A player can't see how many pieces are required unless they are on the co-op. On the fence--I give up my few pieces in return for???? No benefit? not even a permanent space on the co-op.

The New farm isn't suggesting that people do this. He wants to know if it is OK if he does so.

And the benefit? Doing a good turn to others. He is a nice person who likes to help others without necessarily getting something back

Hi there - me again. Tiny favor. Can we refer to me as 'she'. Thanks

And for those who are wondering what the benefit is to me - what do I get out of? It's simple. I get to help someone.

I have been asked if I would post a list of my current inventory as it would help, so as of a minute ago, I have

    86 Teamwork
    363 tickets (update 46)
    201 registers (update 51)
    26 business cards
    83 flies (yuck)
    10 lunchboxes
    79 manpower (update 9)
    367 containers (update 372)
    325 tractors (update 76)
    3 transporters
....and on partridge in a pear tree. Ok, this one was just in fun. Sorry couldn't resist.

Again - this offer is for items listed only. No gold. No money.

And please understand, I join, I dontate, I leave the co-op
