the land expansions are considerably more expensive than the first ones on the resturant farm ;(
Shared construction slot and no transferring decos ;(

All so new still--so i am anxious to see what is around the corner :)

Is it just me or is the representation of the Flower Farm lady mildly racist? I take it she is supposed to be native American or something, but really? Going on about her "ancestors" and the "spirits of the land"? Wearing feathers in her hair? Did anyone at GGS actually do research on indigenous cultures or anything before implementing this? It just looks like you thought about what stereotypes there were and piled them all into one character.

Zeeuwsmeisje, that's great to hear. I'm still clearing off land at the moment but I can't wait to start building stuff myself. :D

I believe that our lady on the flower farm is a hippy chick straight out of the 1960's, no racism just a free spirit in touch with nature.
The earth will provide if we live in harmony with nature.
    Happy farming

I also thought she was a hippy. Stereotypical perhaps, but of a hippy and hippys come in all races!

'Hippy' fits with the flowers and new age style essences too

I am also not impressed with the new character. But some of the other characters that we have been complaining about since the beginning are still saying the same ugliness. Sooooo... i guess just have to deal, right?

This being a world wide game, guessing by the numbers of different servicers, like many in the U.S. I'm of many and different ethic groups as are many people in other countries. So why not just enjoy a very innocent and fun game and stop looking for things that are probably not there and are only in the eyes of a very small percentage of players. Just my thought...God bless and be safe

    Jaystarr, that's so funny :D

There are birds sheding feathers all over the world :D

You might have noticed that the game developers sit in Germany and might draw their ideas from other countries and cultures besides the USA? ;)

    Thanks for a big laugh

I need an answer please :):) Does someone know what happens on the flowerfarm ? Do you grow flowers, or what ? Is it worth buying the farm if i dont have money or time to upgrade or extend farmland right away ? I want to buy but i will have to wait doing much there .

Mai--Hard to tell really--things are about as expensive as the resturant farm and the setup is similar with the expansions. it is first few hours LOL. Start saving money and don't rush.

ooooh just realized that the flower farm has a lot of uses for wildflowers--! I finally have use to plant them :D so hard to stay focused with so many farms now though. I get lots of them from the random people walking about though.
I think that the flower farm is great, but i think you will have greater success with it to have profits very good on the main farm and the resturant. i am having a lot of fun with it now ;)

If you buy it, and don't do anything on it in regards to new buildings and expansions and stuff, and don't have any wildflowers, it will have paid for the first 120k price after making 8 summer bouquets (even with the +6% running costs as it comes, and with having to buy the wild flowers (but having the wheat available))

So you could go for it, and do the 6h production of the main building you get with it, and make a bit of farmdollars without too much hassle

What the 2 new farms are missing is the option to demolish/downgrade the cabin and shop/restaurant

I didnt upgrade anything at the flowerfarm yet, and i will have to wait a while...but it was definately worth buying. I got a lot of x points when i first bought it, i can earn some exstra cash from the wildflowers i get for free from the little balloons over my workers heads. Gotta love this little farm of mine :)
I didnt find a way to get a meadow yet Gwendolen. Is that an optin that will come when i have upgraded stuff ? It sounds so beautiful :):)

If you're lvl39 it should be there in the build menu on your flower farm. It costs $100,000 to build and needs 25 workers (you can get that by upgrading the cabin once and then building 2 houses).

Not looking forward to the new orchards without knowing what happens with the leaves from the flower farm? I don't have them built yet and i see little reason if i am just going to add to the ever growing mountain of leaves from the apple and cherry orchards. And yes i am still with just 3 apple orchards and doing well with plenty of profits and supply, but still producing far more leaves than what i am making to humus.

Think of this - if you got a second building slot for gold, it should be expensive enough to be comparable to having only one building slot and using gold to finish your buildings.

I'm surprised you all are out of time to build on three farms. I am out of money all the time, and building time is of a secondary importance. Everything is awfully expensive.

you can make alot of money on the flower farm if you take the time to do things on it and i dont agree with a second building slot costing gold or money but a second building slot would be nice so you can do 2 upgrdes at same time on 2 different farms that wouldf be just totally great

Sometimes I would love an extra building slot too, when I am making decorations, but apart from decorations, I usually only have money to do one thing at a time anyway :)

Isn't it pretty Mai? I am still totally in love with my flowerfarm! And I like the idea that the orchards give honeydew instead of all those leaves :p

Yes Gwendolyn...It is very pretty :)
An extra building slot would be great, but as you say...I rarely have enough money to do many things at the same time either, so it doesnt matter much if it stays the way it is. The Honeydew idea is just so sweet :):):)
