While I like it so far, I'm wondering if this will end up being problematic and complained about. Is this a random event thing like how the bees were last time? Remember, last time with the bees, you had people that CONSTANTLY farmed and because of the randomization of where the bees showed up, they just never found bees and couldn't finish the mission, whereas some people just lucked out with a bit of farming.

I hope the easter eggs one will be an improvement on the problems that were raised with the bee mission.

I agree with Jay! Last time I didn't get the bees... and I am on my farm a lót, constantly busy! We'll see what happens, I guess :)

Well, you have like 18 days--even buying a few with gold is within reach on this one :D

Thanks for the Easter egg mission bf, I'm really enjoying this challenge!
It's great to pass the time while I'm saving up my dollars, and the added bonus is I don't have to worry about going to the gym afterwards to work off the extra poundage - unlike real choc, hehe :D
Nice work, please let's have more challenges like this, much appreciated!

Well it wil probably not be able to complete without using gold, getting 30 eggs a day, you need the full 17-18 days, if you get unlucky 1 day, no reward...

When you get 2 eggs out of 6 x 6 corn harvests (36) then the odds arent good.

you gotta be like pro clicker everyday for 18 days, and you have to find avg 38 eggs per day, unless you are a gold spender.

Guys, give it a chance. This event is only in it's first couple of days and already it sounds like everyone's given up! I wasn't here for the bee event, but from the sounds of it the bees were few and far between. This is a totally different event. Improvements have been made. It's meant to be fun! The eggs seem very readily available to me... I had (I say had because I have now built another field) 4 fields, 2 chicken coops, 2 cows, 2 pigs. I have already collected 50 eggs and I really don't think I have been clicking all day everyday to get them - maybe about 2-3hrs? Sign up for a mission, or complete one of the tasks while you are doing - the eggs only require the basics, so no gold needed. I have spent the time purely harvesting fields, putting the crops through the mill and also making fertiliser, so the eggs are there, but you can't expect them to just jump out at you without doing the basics.

Hi, i have already 59 eggs and i have played today only 2 hours, yesterday i was playing about 4 hours during the day.
So it could be possible to have all those eggs. And i do not have gold, or money to buy gold.
I do hope i win the price, butt if not it is okay for me, i am just a farmer :)

I'm enjoying the easter event, but I have to say when I saw that you need 500 for the reward I was a little discouraged. However after playing for a while I found that it is relatively easy to obtain easter eggs, it just takes time. I was completing a coop project and collected approx 20 in a few hours. All in all I think this is a great event :)

    I've got 107 eggs already.

    Empirical evidence (observation) suggests:
    - Wheat is better than cabbage which is better than corn which is better than wildflowers
    - Apples are great (over 50%)
    - Cherries are great (over 75%)
    - Cowsheds are better than pigsties which are better than chicken coops
    - Mill, Silo, Composter - seem to give you eggs more often when you are producing multiple items at a time
    - Mill (I can't say this for sure as I haven't run enough) - cowfeed > pigfeed > chickenfeed

All of the above are observations only. I don't know the internal math.

Is anyone else begining to see diminishing returns of Easter Egg collections?

Yesterday I was collecting one Easter Egg for every 4-5 Chicken Coop collections. I have just gone 12 Coop collections without an Easter Egg. Same with pigs, Yesterday I was getting an Easter Egg in 1 out of 3 collections, now about 1 in 7.

I've only collected 84 Easter Eggs so far but at this rate the prize seems unattainable without spending large amounts of gold.

I think as long as you average 50 eggs a day, you should finish in plenty of time, and it truly depends on what you are harvesting, cow sheds are great and Roses seem to give every time, corn and chickens not so much and I have read somewhere on the forums that there is nothing in the wildflowers

At 1st i was getting lots of eggs but now it has really slow down. May be they did that to get you hook. Now i wait and see if at the end ill get the 500 needed. Or will it be back too. ( The Bleeding Continues )

Looks like the longer the thing you're collecting took to produce, the more likely it is to give an egg (which does make sense). Setting wheat to grow overnight seems to be very effective, usually 3 out of my 4 fields give an egg when harvesting wheat.

The egg hunt is an added fun. I have already gotten 150 of them. If you are doing a mission your chances increase it seems to getting more of them. Getting them is less of a challenge then getting collectibles. It is all luck of the draw but with a large timetable to achieve it most should be able to get it.

    That's just so funny.

skiff, I've experienced the opposite, I seem to be getting eggs even more frequently now.

Sue, I've gotten eggs from wildflowers as often as I have from corn, oddly I haven't seen many from cabbage so I suspect it's completely random.

This couldnt be worse than missions. In the missions you don't have a fighting chance to win unless you spend lots of money on gold. Always play against farmers that are 10-20 levels ahead and that is not fair.

Can we keep this thread on topic please CncmonUser. There are a number of mission related threads that you're welcome to have your say in, however this one is about the Egg Event.

No way for this to be very valuable to new players. It does not teach you how to farm better or make more money.
    It's pointless and random.
