Suggestion: Moving Decorations From One Farm To Another... ⏳

    unfortunately,ggs has stated several times that moving decos from farm to farm aint gonna happen.

    Why is it that we can't store a decoration and be able to place it on another farm? I would like to have the option or doing that. Why should i buy all of these decorations and then have to buy more decorations for my other 2 farms. it doesn't make sense. Please can we have the option when we store something of placing it on another farm if we so choose to instead of buying buying buying.

    And there is a reason for it, players can buy(or achive) one set of decos and move it from farm to farm when needed, that can be tollerable by ggs if it was event or dollars decos but when it comes to gold decos, they just wont accept it.

    I like the drop box option, but maybe use a time limiter instead of dollars/gold.

    Say you put a decoration in the drop box, then you need to wait a given period of time before it becomes available to use again. That makes old decos reusable and prevents happyness merry-go-rounds, specially if it's something like 12+ hours.

    Having to build it again also works for me, I just want to be able to use my no longer needed decos on another farm. But of course, eventually I'll be of a high enough level that this won't matter, assuming I keep playing...

    My thoughts on this topic are that if I can only have one build slot for all my farms, then the things I build in this build slot should be able to move to other farms. If only one "manufacturing plant," then why multiple inventories. Logistically, this doesn't make sense. We should get a new build slot for each farm, then I can build a deco on gourmet while building a deco on main farm. This would solve a lot of the complaints, I think, about moving decos, because it would take the same time to build a flower garden on all three farms at same time. I know I can't afford the build time to constantly be building decos on all my farms when upgrades take so long (and I'm only level 35 now, i can't imagine how bad its going to be when I have the flower farm, too).

    Why not allow one to move a deco between farms using dropbox (rather than storage) but institute a time delay to do it? Perhaps 1 day? 2?

    Perhaps it takes the same build time again to move the deco to the drop box as when replanting it. Maybe "rebuilding" the deco to the drop box takes up the construction slot.
    Effectively, this means it would take twice as long to build an existing deco on another farm and the construction slot is being used the entire time.

    I understand GGS not wanting us to play 'musical decorations' from farm to farm, but what if we could buy the decorations from one farm and put them on another? Maybe have it cost half of whatever we paid for it - whether that is gold or game dollars.

    I also agree that there should be one building slot per farm. If each farm has it's own workers and happiness ratings, why is there only one shared build slot? It makes it nearly impossible to improve more than one farm at a time, especially with build times being what they are.

    Being able to transfer decorations between all three farms would be amazing ... and also projects similar to the bee lady etc would be cool on the other farms as well... not just on main farm. Or if all three farms contributed towards it... so you could find bees on each farm.

    This has been suggested many many times and has been discussed in great length with input from the moderators and community managers. If I remember correctly the outcome is always that they are not planning such ability for the near/distant future.

    The idea of adding more events for the other farms however is a different story. As it stands there aren't any projects or events for any of the other farms, but there is research tasks for them. So i guess we are going to have to be patient and wait for said events/projects to become available. :)

    I think i should be able to take my decorations from my main farm and use it on my gourmet farm and my flower farm and vice versa. I am now switching over all my orange houses to fancy houses and i would like to put all the tractors that i bought that cost me so so much on my other farms. but i can't and i think this incredibly unfair in the game!!! So I have to demolish them? Not cool with me when I could use them on my gourmet or my flower farms...Not interchangable when you all could make it interchangable. I spend so much on gold I don't think I am asking a lot here. At all. especially since I plan to change every one of my orange houses to fancy houses so that I can save on happiness so I can save on space.

    ggs has said several times that this feature wont be added because they are under the impression that people would only keep one set of decos and take the time to switch them between all 3 farms every single time there is a harvest.

    how disapointing thanks though for letting me know. Its just frustrating that i have to get rid of something that cost so much like that.

    It would be great if, as you outgrow some decorations they could be sold or traded in on new ones. it would also be nice if we could transfer those we have in our inventory to another part of our farm.

    Transporters are relatively difficult to come across, so this may be an option GGS can consider. I read some buzz on the forum about players wanting to move decorations from one farm to another, and I don't think GGS will consider that at this point. Here is a thought... One transporter can be used to transport one decoration from one farm to another. Why not? Transporters don't come along as often as say... containers, tickets or tractors. It can take a month sometimes to collect a whopping handful of the transporters, so using them wisely will be a strategy call added to the game. Save them for co-op projects or use one to transport one decoration. It will make the collection item more hands on with an added option for use... and if all goes well, the door may open down the road for second uses for other collection items. Moving decorations has been a hot topic for a while, this may be the key. Just a thought.

    Introduce a Forklift as a new collection item. I have been on many real farms and all have their own forklifts. Forklifts can be used to Load the décor onto the transporter, so moving items from one farm to another would require a transporter and a forklift.

    I think this is a great idea.
    I believe this will be very helpful and stop a lot of the bickering on the forum, and will help use up the other decoration that you will never otherwise use. It will help all the members on the Big farm whether they are in a co-op or not. Might even sell more of the decorations that you buy with gold, only time will tell, and keeping the members that play the big farm should be the first priority or you will start losing members. :):):)

    Hahaha I was thinking if the collectibles became "useable" in the game, I would like all of my 900 handsome men to become "useable" as well... :D

    we might want some of those handsome men to transport the decos. Their count might be based on the size of deco & happiness.

    Like 2 is needed for flower bed (smaller size), but 3 for veg bed (a bit big), 8 for big ornamental tree (its really heavy) like that.


    We can use already available collectibles of the transporter and men.

    Had another think about the time of transfer for moving deco to the drop box. Some high happiness deco such as the ones we win for events have a very small build time so instead of build time I thought maybe something like this:

    The transfer time for moving the deco to the drop box would be 1 hour (say) per happiness point. So a deco with +74 would take 74 hours to transfer to the drop box. Then placing it on another farm would take the normal build time. Both stages would use up the construction spot.

    In addition, we could then have farm boosts for transfer time, each boost taking 3 minutes off per happiness level, up to 15 minutes off maximum.

    So at maximum farm boost, you could decrease the transfer time of deco to the drop box by 25%. So a 74 happiness deco would take 55 hours 30 minutes instead of 74 hours.

    These figures can be altered but I've kept them high so that it isn't a quick or easy option.

    heres an idea make it so the decorations in storage can be used on the other farms instead of just on the farm they were on when put into storage for instance if I have a lake that was on my main farm and I no longer need it there so I put it into storage make it so I could transfer it to my gourmet farm or flower farm
