Newbie Coop: Founded 1/8/2013
First for our new (and existing) members: Our Coop is founded on the expectation that we can all learn from each other and work together to:
- Complete Research Projects
- Complete Cooperative Projects/Missions
- Help each other with tips
To this end, we expect all members to be active:
- If you KNOW you will be away from the game for more than 48 hours, please let us know (send the leader a message). If you are away from the game for 4 or more days (without communicating with the group), or you have not been participating as much, you will be removed so we can add more active members to the group.
- Donate cash (suggested $5,000 per day donation at lower levels, more as available at higher levels)
- Donate gold (suggested 10 per day at levels 30 and higher, or decide to share 1/2 of what you earn when completing personal missions and leveling up) It is NOT an expectation that you spend real money to buy gold to donate to the group, but if you want to, feel free to share.
- Continually check our Coop Projects (click on the fork/shovel icon) and see if you can donate any items so we can start projects - these projects help our points and allow us to climb the leaderboards!
- When the Coop starts a project (like Complete Movie Experience; Corn, or Cheese Off; Milk), please make sure you focus on keeping those items going on your farm.
- Sign up under Research (lab beaker icon) by donating researchers. If you can do it at a lower level, it costs less. As you level up, it will cost more to contribute a researcher.
The Coop needs cash and gold donated by everyone so we can complete Research projects.
To that end, we have suggested guidelines for donations as follows:
Cash: Going forward, I would like to put guidelines in for donating cash on a daily basis (your level x $1000, divided by 2 - GREAT suggestion by Coop member!!). For example:
Level
10: $ 5,000
15: $ 7,500
20: $10,000
25: $12,500
30: $15,000
35: $17,500
40: $20,000
45: $22,500
50: $25,000
Gold: If you are level 30+ you have the ability to donate gold to the Coop - the suggestion is 20 Gold per week. You earn gold for many things including some missions, leveling up, and 1 time per week on the daily logins.
The Cash and Gold guidelines are not a requirement, but rather a suggestion, because I realize that we all have upgrades we are working towards saving for, but the Coop gets stronger and gives us benefits on our individual farms as we complete research projects.
Deputy Status is Earned:
Deputy Status is going to be earned (and kept) based on activity in the Coop.
The Coop is here for the good of the members. As we research and level up as a team, our items are worth more on our farms.
If you are active and participating (donate cash, gold, researchers, help with projects) you will maintain deputy status. If we dont see you being very active, you will become a member (not deputy). If you know you wont be active, please communicate!
If you have questions, feel free to ask - We will add tips next to help get you going!
Most of all, have fun!!
Comments
Happiness: Shhh - I didn't know this until I was level 23, but the more decorations you have, the lower the cost to keep things going - this will allow you to expand quicker and give you more cash to donate to the Coop. Decorations contribute to Happiness, and Houses/workers count against your happiness, so make sure you keep your happiness in the green!
Water Tower: It is a good idea to use the Gold you start with to buy the Water Tower - it allows you to use fewer resources to grow things on your field and feed your animals
Add tips below and I'll edit this message to add more as we go!
(I'll edit this post to add all the suggestions)
