    Alright ! Its here :D

    Now comes my first question:

Does upgrading the cabin in Gourmet farm cause happiness to decrease? please tell me it doesn't :(
The farm house in the main farm does not decrease happiness, I hope this one doesn't either, I am already struggling with earning money, and now I have 2 farms to work on.

All the task buttons are now pressed flat and the people look even more idiotic than usual.

Muslim farmer - I suspect it does. My running costs went from -45% to +8% with buying the new farm.

Actually - in my MAIN farm, it went from -45% to +8%, and in my NEW farm, it is +6%... Is there a bug there? Don't buy that damned new farm.

Also, can we pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease have our stored deco in the main farm available in the Gourmet farm? so we can use it for happiness temporarly until we buy new higher point decos when we have more money?

    pretty please :)

Haven't read anything about this change so i will assume that it is a bug. My main farm has gone from about -16% running costs to +67% with this update without me changing any of my houses or decorations.

Just added up my houses and they should be producing -606 happiness, however according to the meter in game my houses are producing -666. Not sure where the extra -60 is coming from so i would again assume it is a bug.

    Very disappointed

Why can't I use my spare decs in the new farm? In a real life scenario you would totally share items between two businesses you own. I know I've actually done it in real life

I have to choose which farm to do upgrades in. It should be one upgrade per Farm

Takes along time to move between Farms

I'm afraid I shall be ignoring it for now

    Totally underwhelmed

Are you on your second farm by any chance? Both farms have seperate counters for happiness.

Do you mean the second farm (i.e. Gourmet Farm) ? The Second farm has its own happiness, its separate from the main farm.

Yes why does it have a separate Happiness meter? I know it's not real life but a game, but in real life a Farmer with more than one Farm would have one workforce
  • edited 20.02.2013
Oh, I am afraid that this second farm proved a trap. Once I started running it the happiness levels decreased dramatically.

Obviously another trick aiming to payment with real money. There comes the moment to exclaim: "Farewell, Big Farm! Farewell, GGS!"

Yes, both farm do have separate counter of happiness, but the Cabin in Gourmet farm is counted to take off happiness from main farm.

I have 12 houses level 3 on my main farm which gives -1092, but the house count in happiness is -1152 - and the Cabin in Gourmet farm gives -60 happiness. I can't see any other explanation.

So, the Cabin in Gourmet farm is pulling happiness down in BOTH farms?

It says to buy the second farm in a quest but I can't see where to buy it.

Nope, I did specifically note it was my main farm. Other people in my co-op are reporting the same thing and I did edit my original post to note that it is -60 happiness that has randomly appeared.

As said before, the happiness levels are seperate for both farms, same as with houses and decoration as a whole.

You may say so, it just does not work so. Would you go and fix that bug ASAP instead of claiming all is well?

That -60 happiness comes from the Cabin in Gourmet farm.

Latten the new Farm is bringing down Happiness on the main farm too. If it's not deliberate it's bugged

Currently the cabin in the gourmet farm lowers the happiness in both farms by 60. It obviously isn't intended that way but that is how it is working at the moment.

No, Latten, that's not so. My main farm was -43 happiness (green side) and now it is +63 (red side). How did that happen? I only upgraded the cabin in my new farm.

It must be it, because I am building a deco in Gourmet farm, and it decreased my running costs in my main farm (which is nice :) ) but I wouldn't want my running costs in main farm to increase if I upgraded my cabin in Gourmet farm.

It seems it is a bug.

It seems to be a display error at least.

I built a decoration on my personal second farm already and the happiness on my main farm stays normal, no matter what I do.
Please put at least one decoration on your gourmet farm and check if it happens again.

We've forwarded the problem already, by the way, but more information could be helpful.

And how exactly am I supposed to put that decoration in my new farm, when it is not possible to share decos between farms and I am upgrading cabin for 5.5 more hours (as requested by a task BTW)?

I don't see a bug with happiness. They are completely separate, as is the decoration inventory unfortunately. Why can't I use decorations I have removed from my first farm and put them on my second? Also, I can't believe we can still only build one thing at a time. I have to wait until what I am building on my first farm is finished before I can build something on my second. Why can't we build one thing on each farm simultaneously?

At least all the cash is shared - that's something.

You are right, I just refreshed the game page, and it is back to normal, so I guess it was a display error.
I do not know about the problem with the cabin and increasing running costs in main farm due to it because I haven't upgraded cabin yet, and I don't want to upgrade it until I am sure that it won't do that.

At my farm, there's one moment shared happiness and one moment separated...
Maybe you should try with deleting your cache and flash players local storage settings.

    Edit:
    Nope that isn't helping.
When I switch to Gourmet farm and then back to first one, happiness is changed (lowered).

    Edit2:
It's only display bug. I've calculated chicken coop starting costs and I've spent 8 dollars except 14 that is shown.

Pero is right. So, just ignore your second farm and you will hopefully be all right...

I don't think it is only display error, because I checked running costs for my chickens and those were changed (unless that was a display error, too, and something else was subtracted from my money).

ETA: I guess it is a display error, as I tried sowing corn when it showed as with cost 52 and after being to second farm, cost 55, but in both cases they took 52.
