It's far from ideal, and scrolling is particularly funky, but you can use a phone or tablet to play Big Farm but not using your device's native browser as it doesn't support Flash.

You need to install a browser app with Flash built in to it

    Android
I use Puffin on an android tablet (nexus 7) and android phone (nexus 5) to play Big Farm. The Photon Browser works too, but I prefer Puffin.

Both have free, ad supported versions, or inexpensive ad free ones

    iOS (iPhones or iPad)
iSwifter seems to be the favourite for iPad and iPhone but there are others too including an iOS version of Puffin

    Kindle
Kindles are Android based with their own proprietary variation. There was a version of Photon for Kindle but it was withdrawn. However there is this information on the Amazon Forums

When signing in from your phone or tablet, or any new or strange computer, you need to choose your server from the flag menu at the bottom of the log in screen

At one time nafaru did say they were working on an app but has since said it is on hold. But even if they did develop it, it would have to count as a different server. This means you couldn't access your current farm with it but would have to start a new one from level 1, so wouldn't fit your needs anyway :(

I don't think there any tablets that natively support Flash Player

It isn't complicated though. You need to install a flash enabled browser, which installs like any other app in moments

I use Puffin on an android tablet (nexus 7) and android phone (nexus 5) to play Big Farm. The Photon Browser works too, but I prefer Puffin.

    This is what i found
There might be something else too. Windows i don't know

Found this link too, if it helps

What are the minimum hardware requirements needed to run this game on a tablet.
Is anyone having any luck running this game on a tablet?
I realize it needs Adobe flash player

    I'm on level 75. Not a newbie.

    Hi,

Any windows based laptop / netbook will run this, the trouble is with android or IOS and flash - All Macs or Windows based systems should be fine as they are able to have flash installed :)

Guys, I've just installed Photon Browser on my Android tablet and then accessed bigfarm.goodgamestudios.com and it redirects me to empirefourkingdoms.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarmmobile and tells me that Big Farm can only be played on a PC - and recommends me to play Empire: Four Kingdoms....

Have I missed a way of playing on my tablet?

Have you told Photon to use the flash player. If I remember correctly the icon is a lightening bolt (flash)
Photon will work, but I find Puffin much better. Both have free or ad free paid for versions so you can try them both

The message you have received is for if the built into Photon flash player is not enabled

Puffin or Photon should both work. Scrolling is a little difficult and I wouldn't like to play full time on a tablet, or the very tiny screen of a phone. But it is good enough for me to help in co-op projects to harvest apples or cows when the need arises

Will this game ever be available in an app version?

I don't always time to turn on my computer and wait for everything to load if I want to just quickly harvest and replant before going to work an app version that I could play on my phone or ipad would definitely make me play the game more.

hi all, just wondering, can we play bigfarm on android tablets?
or do we need to download an application to play?

or does this only work on actual PCs only?

    thanks all

It's a browser based game, ritacba12. it means that you can play the game on any device that can browse the internet. No apps and no downloads.

hello! well the application you need is a flash-enabled browser on your android tablet. This is because bigfarm is a flash-based game. Currently, there're 2 apps in the play store that can do that: puffin browser and photon browser. However they're really a pain to use.

That's not exactly correct. Android has removed support for flash, so you cannot play bigfarm, which is a flash-based game. Android and most webpages are transiting to html5 instead.

I have raised the question as to whether the devs have considered coding the game in html5 (i know it's a mammoth task) but received no response regarding this. Could any mods clarify?

    thank you.
