Thanks Latten, I'm really excited to have a play! Will this only be of use to the coop as a whole, or will it have an impact on our individual farms too?

With this great update, our cooperative lost all progress in our project. Could you at least give back the items we had to donate if we fail the project now??

Yup, we noticed :D It's even more fun if you click the information for the water tower!

There will be a hotfix, probably within the next half hour, so don't worry if the game is down again for a few minutes.

From what I can work out, it requires people that are willing to pay the cost of "employing" the researchers before the research begins. 0/3 just means that you haven't employed anyone. You need 3/3.

Hope that helps a bit. :)

Try one is my suggestion. I can't see it requiring both. I suspect they just wanted to give people options.

first of all, as kat said, you need 3 researchers, who want to pay to participate in research. And then you have to pay the amount for research from the cooperative's funds. However, the amount for researchers depends on his/hers level. Mine is lvl 28 and I have to pay 48960 to be a researcher.

Okay, I'll work on a proper instruction later today :)

    Until then:

You need researchers to start a research project, let's say you need 5 for now. Your cooperative has 7 members.
Now, you can do the following: 5 of your cooperative members can register themselves as researchers, by buying the slot for dollars. Every participating researcher has to pay for his spot in the research team out of his or her own wallet. After you did that, the research project can be started with another dollar price, but this time it has to be paid from cooperative donations.

Everything okay so far? Alright! If you require more researchers as you currently have available as cooperative members, you can hire a researcher, too. You can do so by paying gold for hiring one. This researcher will count as one more person being registered for the research project.
If you have a research project that needs 10 researchers, and your cooperative only has 7 members, 3 of you have to pay for a hired researcher to get a full team of 10.

    That's basically it :)

so does the 'farm management' research apply for all members? like the healthier pigs: does it give 20% more money for all cooperative members?
also what is the cooperative gold used for now since we can no longer increase or members limit using it?

Yes, every research applies to all members, regardless of how many are actually researching it.
The cooperative gold is still used for increasing your member limit :) Check out the research tree "cooperative", it's been moved in there.
