Hi :D i am glad you found my tips helpful. The Co-op i am in is maybe looking for new members, but the right section to post your search is this one: http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/forumdisplay.php?587-Cooperative-Search

I think from there you can start a new thread or post on one that has already been started. Good luck in your search--Being in a Co-op increases your fun ;) **Oh i see that you found it :)

    Donyanna,
You use Humus on your fields. It increases your crop 150% for that harvest only

Yes, you want that number to be a big negative number. There are new decorations as you level up that are better too.

ya I'm just wondering where the logic is in that. How can a happy bunch become high negative?

Edit: YAY I finally figured it out LOL its in minus because of the costs. so I got -25 as that will be taken off the costs *sigh* Im a slow learner but I got it now lol thank you ^^,

Thanks for the tips! Really helpful for everyone.
Still wondering what is in the thick bushes on the right side of the area? If anyone has the answer, I, and I'm sure many others would be grateful. It always helps when deciding witch area to choose next.
    :)

I don't know--i think the point of having them 'hidden' is so that you get a pleasant suprize for your expansion efforts. Sometimes there is a treat and sometimes there is not a fancy decoration. If there is not a decoration--the land is cleared in about 2 minutes though and you can build what you want--decorations, more fields, barns, orchards.

Have applied to co-ops and no responses from any...is there a problem with the system ? Are my messages going out?

    Hmm--I am not sure.
**It depends on how active they are and who is on that makes decisions--maybe the leader is away?
**It costs a lot of money to upgrade the co-op--if they need to expand to make a spot.
**The co-op might be deciding who to boot that is inactive or otherwise not benefiting the co-op?
**If the co-op has the icon to signify they are seeking members--they might have a flood of applications to sort through.
**it could be a bug in the system and you would need to contact support.

Stay active and don't give up. It would be a nice gesture to send the application and then follow up with a PM message--lets them know that you are interested and that you can be an active member.

For a chance to get faster answer, mail the cooperative leader :)

Another suggestion too ChampionLynn, put in your applications just how often you're online. Most coops are looking for members that are active for a reasonable time period each day.

One more suggestion, think about starting your own coop. :)

    Good luck,

As a co-operative leader, (and one that has even replied to you), the biggest issue with adding new members, is the research and time required, if you don't have any in-actives in your group. Right now in my co-op, we have 13 members, and all but 2 are highly active each day. The 2 that aren't fully active, have notified me about real life issues that have temporarily hindered their play time, but they still log in every day.

As you get bigger and bigger the research requires more people to claim a spot (some needing to claim with gold sometimes, if you don't have enough active members for 1 dollars slot each), which costs more per person based on farm level. A level 25 may only need to pay 40k dollars for a research slot, but a level 40 requires 70k dollars to claim that same spot. Then, on top of getting the 12+ members to claim research spots as needed, you need everyone to donate up to 2-3M cash to the co-op fund as well before the research can even start. Once the research is started, it still takes a set amount of time (24-48 hour range for the first few member researches) for the research to complete.

For a co-op to add more members from the time you notify them you'd be interested in joining takes multiple days, and can take closer to a week depending on donations. This is also considering the group doing no other research that would benefit them in the mean time, such as: Healthier Pigs, More Milk, Organic Eggs, Optimized Process, etc.

I usually take a vote for the next 3-4 researches at a time, and proceed from there. We do try to fit member research in, but if it's not the next one on the list, it'll be a few days. My co-op is currently finishing Healthier Pigs 3, and will then be adding new members again. I currently have 4 people wanting to join my co-op, so we may do a 2nd member research after that.

All I can say is, let a co-op leader/deputy know that you are interested in joining, and give them time to make room. Keep in contact with them, without being a nuisance, and be patient. This will let them know that you are truly interested, and worth considering over somebody else. Also, when you join, be prepared to chat, help with collection items/projects, and help with donations. It makes a huge difference in how long you (as well as others) stay in the co-op, if you are visibly active. Especially when there are so many others out there looking to join a co-op that are willing to chat, help, and donate.
