New players joining coop

I have noticed that there is not the usual notification on chat and activities  when a new player is accepted into the coop, they just pop up unannounced. It's hard to keep track when this happens. Didn't notice the application either, but that could be my mistake. The last new player was in a coop immediately prior to his arrival here, so I couldn't have sent an invitation.( He is very welcome though)

Is your coop set up to allow players to join without an invite?

  • No ,I checked that, it is on standard settings.

@amazingrose7 (GB1) Could possibly one of your deputies may have accepted the application of the new player unintentionally? That's all I can think of. 🤔

The only time I have ever seen that happen is when the player is sent an invitation. Could they have gotten one from a deputy in your coop?

Did this happen more than once?  If only once, perhaps you could just ask the new player if they had applied or if they had rec'd an invitation
  • Thanks Heather and Farmer John, yes that may have happened. But usually there is a message on chat saying so and so has joined your coop, that was not happening. It seems to have settled down now though.I think maybe a coop message helped !
