Dream World & Main Farm Open at Same Time

One of the quests in Dream World is to open another browser with the Main Farm.  Works great, UNTIL, there might be a internet connection loss OR you log out for the night and then log back in the next day.  The option is no longer available to have two browser windows open with Dream World and main Big Farm at the same time.  You're kicked out of one or the other.

It's wonderful and very helpful to be able to have two windows open with Big Farm at the same time.  Especially when trying to accomplish missions.  Because it takes so long to switch between the two.  And 30 seconds when you're doing a mission for Wildflowers, for example, can make a huge difference. (May not take others as long, I'm still running Windows 7, thank goodness!)  

Point being - it would be great to be able to have both browser windows open at the same time to switch between Dream World & Main Farm.  Why present the possibility and encourage it if it's not long-lived?

It is possible to get back there, although a little tricky to find the 1st time;

1st, click on the Greta DW bubble just above the bottom toolbar
2nd, arrow right to get to the 10th page
3rd, click the link

What I've done is once I open up Dreamworld..I click to open a new tab and from there I go to my quick link to the coop and it opens up.  I then have two tabs--one dreamworld and the other my regular farm.  I am using chrome for this.  Haven't tried it with Edge.  Sorry I tried to do a small screenshot but couldn't do it.

I do something similar. I have a desktop icon that links right to my main farm. When its open I switch that tab to dreamworld and then click my desktop icon again to open my main farm simultaneously in another tab or window.

@OP part of your problem maybe that you are using an older computer with an older operating system. Browser games can be very memory intensive and Big Farm certainly falls into that category. Your statement that it takes 30 seconds to switch from dream farm back to regular farm on a single window gives me the idea that this may be part of your problem. I suspect with 2 farm windows open your system is likely struggling and you may experience lag and crashes.

My system was a high end, win 10, gaming system 8 years ago when I bought it. Its aging, and even though I keep it optimized, it can still struggle if I have 2 big farm windows open while I'm listening to a pod cast. Since my main farm is only ready every 8 or so hours during a coop challenge and I usually only spend 30-40 minutes on a coop challenge when the farm is ready and the stack master is running. I'll play in dream world until I get something with a long build time (like taking an apple orchard from level 8 to level 9) and then just switch my window to main farm only and do all my coop challenge for that day/session before switching back to Dream farm. That also helps keep my computer from running too hot.

Thank you Heather, johngirl, squeak.  I've opted to open DW, then open the main farm in another tab.  Grandpa Squeak - you hit the nail on the head. I'm still operating Windows 7 & it's slowing things down considerably.

The way I do it in any Chrome-based browser:

1. Open https://bigfarm.goodgamestudios.com/
2. Go to DW
3. Open another tab
4. Open https://bigfarm.goodgamestudios.com/ again

Tab 1 will be DW and tab 2 will be main farm!
