Storage space on OBS farm

Another player in my Coop has 1700 storage space on the OBS farm. I myself have only 400 and wonder the difference?
None of us have a barn.

For comparison, we have:

Plots of land: 8 pcs / 9 pcs

Adventure cabin lvl. 1

Cabin lvl. 1: 5 pcs. / 6 pieces

Mark lvl 1: 5 pcs / 5 pcs

Mark lvl 2: 0 pcs / 1 pc

Feed kitchen lvl. 1

Storage tents (deco): 4 pcs / 5 pcs

No Mod currently online knows of anything other than barns and the Adventurer's Lodge

As you both have no barns and same level Adventurer's Lodge we cannot currently explain it

Someone else might have an answer but I will definitely ask the CMs tomorrow if no one else finds an explanation first

We also have a translation problem    ... what is a Mark?  Either a picture or in your language may help
Though I do not think it relevant.

What is the comparative levels of your RoadRunner?  That adds storage

Mark = field.... sorry 

Oh, that RoadRunner I had not thought of, the one on lvl. 8 the other on lvl. 2 so there we have the explanation I think.

I had not wondered that it was also valid here.

Maybe you can answer another question, if I buy a field or a building for gold, can I then upgrade it for dollars afterwards, or do I hang on to gold the rest of the way?

As a general rule of thumb something bought with gold is upgradable only with gold

The GGSWiki, see button below, lists the upgrade costs of everything known

Since I can not find anything about upgrade prices on OBS farm buildings, I want to hear if you have a reference?
