Trade Center - Northern Lights Help needed

It seems that if you are on the Northern Light Farm, the Northern Light Coins can only be traded for items from that trader on that farm.  But what happens when the Trade Center is showing on your main farm and you select to use the Northern Light Coins from the available tabs?  I bought gooseberries twice at $25,000 each and never saw any in my greenhouse.  Also, what does the "duration" clock mean?  Any advice would be much appreciated.

In terms of duration, I think that is the time they take to be produced.

Have you looked under the right tab in your greenhouse? The seeds you buy are special seeds, not ordinary.

@Morti (SKN1)   Bingo, Brilliant!!!   "Special seeds, not ordinary."  Thank you so much!  Now I know it's safe to spend all my coins on special seeds.  Thought I'd be wasting my coins otherwise (that I've worked pretty hard for).  And the "melting time" is upon us!  lol  Really appreciate your answer.

the duration clock on the trader that's on the MF, is how long that trader will be on the farm

this trader is there during the event and for just a few days after, then he leaves and all remaining coins go "poof" along with him  (so spend all 'coins' before that time runs out)

just to clarify, there are 2 event traders on the main farm;
the coins go poof & need to be spent with the Northern Lights Farm Trader,
but there is also a Runestone Trader where you can find things to purchase with runestones and some also with the northern lights coins. Runestones do not go 'poof', they will stay in inventory & can be used the next event. It is only the coins that will disappear if not used.
