WHY DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE?

I have indicated that I am looking for coop members, but I have to choose a language...WHY?  What if I don't mind what language someone speaks as long as they can use a translator.  I thought being in coop is an INCLUSIVE place to play and make new friends rather than be EXCLUSIVE.  My question is :  Is there a way to not have to indicate language?  If so, I would like to know how to turn off that selection.  Thanks to anyone who can help me.

It is better to have the option  IMO.  Not everyone knows about translators.  I am really not sure why this is such a problem, you can simple put all languages welcomed in your description.

People from all languages can join a coop.  But if the coop basically speaks only (for instance) English, then the non-English speaking player will be aware that (for instance) English is what will be communicated.  I hope this helps.
