Mark All Viewed - not working

The "Mark All Viewed" button at the top of the page has stopped working for me.
I used to hit it before I left forum, refresh the page when I came back and only new posts were highlighted.
Now it don't appear to do anything at all. For instance, Rosies thread with 0 posts still has the yellow flashes as does any other thread I have not actually opened,  Is it just me ?

    One other thing, you might try is to refresh the page right after you click "Mark All Viewed" to see if that helps.
    I take that back, the "Mark All Viewed" is not working properly.  I can get it to work but it takes a lot of doing and this is not what that button was designed for.  So yes, it is being reported. Thank you Rosy!

    Do we have any news on this yet because I am finding the forum becoming more and more unusable   :¬(
    Assuming that this is a Vanilla problem, are GGS chasing them at all ?

    Yes they are being chased, but no sadly no real news :-(

    So, a month has passed. Somebody must know something by now.
    Is it just a feature that Vanilla have withdrawn but GGS haven't taken off the page?
    or have Vanilla changed how it is reached and GGS haven't updated the page?
    or what ?
    Trying to pick out the new posts from amongst all the yellow flashes is becoming hard work   :¬(

    The issue is associated with vanilla, and it has been passed to them  :)
