Renting Farmplots

Renting farmplots

This is an interesting idea for both players that still have farmplots to buy and players that have already bought all of theirs.

For the average player that has many farmplots still to buy, there'll be an extra 2 options when going to buy farmplots with money or gold.

These 2 optons are rent, and rent to buy.

If the farmplot costs, let's say, 100 million, the rent option might cost you 500K a week, if you want to rent to buy it would give you an option to pay 5 million every week for 20 weeks and then the farmplot is yours.

For players who have already bought all their farmplots, there will be 4 farmplots available for rent only on the flower farm.

The price will be very expensive per week for the first farmplots, let's say, 15 million, and the number will double every farmplot after that.

In the case that any player is renting a farmplot but doesn't pay for his upcoming week (the amount will be deducted automatically, this will only happen if he doesn't have any money left) and he has buildings in the farmplot/s that he/she's renting, the buildings will be "frozen" for 1 day, giving the player some time to pay the rent on his farmplot.

If in the middle of the week the player decides to stop renting the farmplot, he will have the farmplot until the end of the week as he's already paid for it and then after that the farmplot will become, once again, undergrowth and all building on it will dissapear never to be seen again.

To distiguish between bought and rented farm plots, the background of the rented ones will be light gray instead of brown.

Well, that's it for this idea, thank you very, very much for your time, if you think it deserves a chance to be put into action, please like and if you think of any of ways it could be better or changed, please leave a comment :D

Also make sure to check out my other idea's :D

Till next time :)

I'm not really a fan of renting plots. I really like the fact that we can just buy plots and keep them permanently.

But if you've already bought all your farmplots, it couldn't hurt to rent a few extra's?

It's a bit difficult to justify having to spend up to 225 million farm dollars per week for plots that you can never keep.

I like the part that players can pay rent towards the plot and get to own it when the rent is complete. But I don't really support the idea of having plots that can only be rented.

By the way, would there be an option to buy the plot for the remaining amount if you were partway through paying it off through the renting process?

Well, true, but of course those numbers could be changed and for some gold spenders i'm sure they would love to rent it with gold :))

Yes, of course, although i forgot to add it that is a very good idea you pointed out, thanks! :D
