For me,
1. I don't think it is needed.
2. That is a good idea.
3. That's would be very nice. I want to get seaweed without getting fishing XP.
4. I agree. The St. Patricks rewards are not good enough. Who would fish manually after they unlocked the boats renting?
5. Ummm... not sure about that.

#2) Already an over kill if one keeps their fishing region busy then it's not worse than the other area's for earning points for the WWC. Maybe you're over loading your ships with unneeded equipment making them take longer to get the fish & get back to be sent out again.
#3) I do believe it does that already - one just has to get their lab up enough to turn it into the different seaweed products. Again check Crazy's - https://crazybigfarm.net/index.html
#4) About the only thing they may improve on these type of events is the decos we can earn from them. Doubt very much they ever include Gold items/GML's, Gold Flower Seeds, Gold mystery boxes/chests or Gold as a reward.
#5) A part of this event was fun but the huge draw backs just didn't make it worth any one's effort to ever do it. It work take some serious rework to fix it as it stands now.
With the all the other bugs already in the game, I'd much rather they spend their efforts on repairing those before ever adding any new content of any kind.
