What is the token limit in the Trade Centre?

I was buying construction tokens with my goldfish coins and got a message that I had hit the limit. Is this a daily limit or just the max one can buy? I had 8 tokens and needed 42 more but after buying 29 I was stopped from buying more. I had enough goldfish coins to buy the last 13 tokens I needed for my second slot.

Sounds like a daily limit. Try again around the same time tomorrow. You'll know then if it is a daily limit or just a certain amount period.

Then I would say yes there is a limit on how many one can buy period.

We have just received the following information regarding the new Goldfish tokens.

There are limits on the following items per run of the event, in other words, a limited number of the following items can be bought during each run of the Goldfish rescue event:

Seaweed humus - 50
Wheel of Fortune tokens -  100
Construction tokens - 50

All the other items that can be bought with goldfish tokens should be unlimited.

Its bad enough that there are limits to how many you can buy, but you are also limited as to when you can buy them.  The window of opportunity is very very short.

I agree with you @BigSparty (US1) , it is like you work for me manufacturing collapsible knitting needles and I pay you $5000 a month. On payday I say to you that you can only spend $1000 on living expenses and the rest you must buy collapsible knitting needles. It is really silly and very game-limiting.
