Got a question about the coop village.

Hi all,

Ok, both our TT and MM buildings are saying we cannot upgrade until the village level is upgraded.
So.... what exactly has to be done to do this?
Do we have to upgrade say the horse thing, which NO ONE in my coop has any interest in?
Or the boat.... two really big coops I've been a member of do NOT want that upgraded.  At least until we can safely keep it stocked I have to agree.  So we have been leaving that alone and focusing on the two buildings needed to contribute to the boat's endless greedy needs.
We just got done upgrading the bank again, hoping that would open upgrades but it did not.

So how does one upgrade?

And to GG.... it would be so helpful if you would put that in the game.
You need to xxxxx

    @Artmaker (GB1)   From CrazyBigfarm55's site....

You can see how many Village XP's you have at the top of the page in your Cooperative Village.  :)

If you do not have the pond or warehouse maxed I would upgrade those. The pond gives a lot of village happiness wich really helps the ones that usr the factors.
  • if everyone in co op keeps both M&M and T&T working all the time.  When online continue making nails and shingles.  Your village level will go up at a reasonable rate.

We have the same problem... can't make an item in the warehouse because we aren't high enough.  None of the above answers helped me figure it out, though.  We are not upgrading the pond or adventure boat due to such a few people that even help with them.

Which one is the warehouse?   We have two empty plots on the left side but neither one is clickable.

Anyway, today we ARE able to upgrade one of the production buildings.  Not sure what goal we met.  Again after the bank upgrade they were both NOT upgradable.   Perhaps enough construction was started?

I don't know.  Another GG mystery.  Overly complicated and no clue exactly how it works.
    Crazybigfarm didn't help.
    Oh well... got one going...

BTW we are working on the pond BUT... seems the goldfish die off too easy if not constantly fed.  Not sure feeding an empty pond does anything but at some point we do it just to unload fishfood which is a great thing to make during the CC.

@DebRN (US1) (Since this will hopefully answer some of your questions as well)

    This is the warehouse:

It determines how many Co-Op materials  (like nails, shingles, edge plants, etc.) you can store in inventory.

To upgrade buildings, your Co-Op Village has to be a level required for the upgrade.  You can check your Co-Op Village level by going to your Co-Op Menu:

In this case, our Co-Op Village level is "117".  You can only upgrade buildings so far as your Co-Op Village Level will allow:

So to upgrade our "Timer and textiles factory", our Co-Op Village level has to be Level 70 or above (and it is, it's 117).

That's pretty much all there is to it.

Your Co-Op Village level uses Village XP to level itself up.  Making things in the T&T and M&M factories like nails and shingles will produce Village XP.  The more people you can get making those things, the more Village XP you'll earn.

    Southern your my hero!!!

Ya know, since this whole village thing first started, I have never looked at that building.  Just assumed it was like that center ring of buildings, just part of the background image.
It's at level 12 and I also don't remember anyone asking to donate to it (three coops) OR noticed it being upgraded.

How is that possible?????  Who knows.  With all the tiny things hidden hunts I thought I knew every pixel in this game.

Ok, new thing.  (not new but new to me.)
    Thanks so much.

not sure seeing how just4fun has the warehouse maxed lol and i have sent messages saying how it is the best way to donate to other buildings more then once lol. so here is how you use the warehouse to donate to buildings better.
    step 1.
    click on warehouse

then that button at the bottom then on the next page wich looks like this

click on any of those green arrow to go to that building build screen. then once there you can donate then hit the exit button and it will take you back to this screen.so you dont have to go to each building. you can also look on there and see how much of everything you have and how much everyone in the coop has as a whole.

When the Village first came out, there were problems with harvesting Edge Plants and people getting "Your Barn is full!" messages.  As "Compensation", GGS upgraded everyones warehouse to Level 12 automatically.

So if you were in a Co-Op that existed around at that time, your warehouse was upgraded to Level 12 by GGS. Co-Ops created AFTER that had to start with a Level 1 warehouse.

But that's why your warehouse is Level 12 even though you never upgraded it. :)

Southern thanks once again for the additional clarification.  Makes sense now.

I still don't quite get how the thing is suppose to help.  I know ijrosh posted a ton... this is just one more element of the time I don't feel like studying.   I come, click through my harvests, upgrade something when I can, set stuff to make stuff and that's about it.
I know some people love to detangle complicated elements of a game, and that's fine.  It's just not for me.
