I would just like to know if anyone can tell me what happens to my sugar dollars that is left on my temp farm, when it finishes, what do i get back from it, also what happens to the humus etc that is left.

Southern (US1)

Leftover Sugar Dollars are automatically converted to Vouchers at the end of the event (when the farm is torn down).  I think the rate is something like (1,000) Sugar Dollars to (1) Voucher.

The other stuff (humus, fertilizer, etc). automatically gets "Sold" by the game and you also receive Vouchers for them, but I don't know what the rate is.  Stuff that can be sold (Grapes, Sugar Cane, Fruity Delights, etc.) get sold for 50% of their value. So make sure YOU sell everything you can before the farm ends so you get 100% of their value.

Stuff that can be demolished (orchards, fields, decorations, etc.) also get turned into vouchers at 50% of their "Demolish Value" (so if you would get 450 vouchers for tearing down a Cotton Candy Machine yourself for instance, if you let the game demolish it at the end of the event you'll still get 225 vouchers). I usually forgo the extra vouchers and just let the game tear everything down, while I keep producing & selling everything I can at the last minute. More vouchers that way

You need to reach level 30 to be able to participate in one.

@Marty63 (AU1)  I would advise you to not tackle any temp farm unless you are L50+. They chew cash at a horrible rate, some farms can cost you a hundred million to run properly. Candy farm: 80-100 million farm dollars.

Depending on how you play it, the candy farm can cost 300 million or more farm dollars. I think it is the most expensive one for what you get in return from it. It is a brilliant source of some resources like tokens though.

I think candy farm is the only temp farm that gives you gold? They gives 150 gold in total. I poured over 20 million dollars on it, just to try and get the gold. Terrible exchange rate when compared to Benny's bargain, but I went for it anyway.

If you are looking for pure gold, that is the only temporary farm that gives it. However, there are items that can be collected like gold mining licences and tokens that can give you gold indirectly. There are three gold mining licences available in the hard work rewards that are only available on the candy farm. There are also tokens which can be purchased through the trader and those can be used to collect gold mining licences and mystery boxes on various wheel of fortunes.
