Reinvent Chat

One thing that I feel keeps me playing the game daily is the social connection to the different players.
If i was alone in the game, I would have left by now.

The social bonding with other players is perhaps the strongest feature keeping players in the game.
The current chat system is completely outdated. No emoji, no italics, no Bolds, no Fonts to choose.
Personal messages should be opened in a different chat box, instead of sending to and fro Pm's that too limited characters.

I hope others can add to this ... features and ideas they might want to see.

     They've already tried to build a better Chat and they tested it on the Test server. It was a real mess with a lot of bugs so it was never introduced into the game.  I agree that our Chat system needs upgrading, yet I cringe at the thought of them tinkering around with something that's so vital to our cooperatives.  ;)

    I SO agree !!   "If i was alone in the game, I would have left by now"
    Not sure what to suggest but both the chat and the message system could be much better
    (and it would be money well spent by GGS if it keeps lots of us enjoying the game)
