Well Done !!

Well done GGS.  We have just lost another one of our friends because of this continuous grind of coop events and bugs and gremlins.  Even as the leader of a top 10 coop I was struggling to log in today at the thought of the multiple events.  Her message to the coop stated how much fun this game used to be and how it is no more than a huge money grab now.  How sad.

Still to many back to back co op events. Most co ops need time for their members to restock & build up their resources. Thought that the co op events where to be less not more! :(

We've lost a few good members who left the game during the past year, two just recently ... a few more aren't logging in like they used to. And despite Xcution's comment, people aren't lining up to play these days.

i noticed the numbers are going down, as much as i like the game they are bleeding it dry unfortunately, they may be thinking that players will spend more gold but sorry to say they are not because i for one am not buying gold like i have done not the way things are looking these days. You need to stop now ggs before you kill the game.

i think the mentality ggs is using is "less means more" so when everybody is screaming at me to put less events and coop events, they mean to put more of them.

I used to wait eagerly for my pay day to buy some gold. i used to spend every month 20-30€(don't laugh, it's a lot of money to me). but ever since they started to ruin the game like this(actualy it started 2 yrs ago with santa's slavery), i hesitate and think twice whether to invest into GGS once in 6 months. on my holiday i don't play, that's my time with my family. but few years ago(hell, even last year in the summer) i was with game "in my thoughts"- planning how to play most efficiently. now when i'm off for 6 weeks, i don't even think about the game (if i do, it's more like: oh gawd, wonder what disaster i will return to this time). i got to the stage, that i play only because i played for so long and it is second nature to me, and i don't have anything better to do anyway... no joy left.

yeah im getting close to leaving the game everything, about it tells me im spending real money for rubbish rewards, virtual at that, the prices for upgrading your books, land and anything else is sky high, the rewards you win are well i dont have any word for it but rubbish, the coins you get for your hard work are low now and not worth putting in the hours, i have hundreds of games purchased and own at the end of the day. I can play them that will cost me nothing further to play. Dont get me wrong i dont mind paying to support a game but my god the prices of stuff tells me to go and stop giving money. I think i shall call it a day before long. i haven't purchased any gold this week and will no longer support this game, until i leave i will be a free to play player. I saw you coming before you saw me.

No one is forcing you do to every event. The developers recommend picking and choosing. I flag a lot of events away now or only dabble in them a bit. If you are in a coop that is pressuring you, choose one that isn't so competitive.

Where is the opt out button for the World Wide Championship event? I can't see one. Seems like someone is forcing us to do some events.

The cycle of life, means some goes, some comes

    @Pameow (AU1)

Last time i checked, you dont have to do anything special for the WW ( as you'll get easy rewards for simply playing )

You do not need extra effort to do the WWC. Just do you farming as normal.

Have you ever tried to not do the WWC?  There is no mechanism to prevent being in it.  So that means if we try to do normal farming we are in that event whether we want to be or not. We are forced to do it.  There are quite a few others like that.

So when you say we are not forced to do every event in practice I guess you mean that we are not forced to do the tiny select sub-group of events that can be avoided.

Sorry first I would really like to know why you don't want extra stuff for not doing anything extra and also if you are only doing your normal stuff then I think a lot of people would say that no you are not really perticpating on the WWC to play the WWC the way it is ment to try and get the most points that means you are doing the temp and traning horse and makeing stuff in the village and fishing as much as possible and doing the weekly event so to actually participate and play the WWC it takes a little more effort then just collecting ruglur stuff especially since most people pick and choose which events and which parts of the game they play there for you would not be playing and get the most points you could for the WWC so yes I have points in the WWC but I am not playing it or paying attion to it what ever points and prizes I get are just a plus so yes I am choosing to ignore it

But you aren't participating at all, really. You're not doing anything extra, or resources that you wouldn't normally. There are loads of events I ignore altogether, like the HWE, and just farm. And now and then I will get extra stuff without lifting a finger. It's absolutely non invasive. It's like not participating in a marathon, but just by walking by it, someone hands you the t-shirt.

Though on int many new players emerge from bottom to top
The old ones most likely to stop or play bit just to kill some time and enjoy the game while little lvl players are playing good
    Its just as I said
If u arnt gonna play someon other will

I don't really know why I don't want extra stuff for doing nothing. What I do know is I would like a choice to not get extra stuff for doing nothing. I take your point that many do like to get extra stuff for doing nothing, so how hard would it be to code a button of participation for those players? Or a button of non-participation would do as well. It is all about extra choices, which improve any game.To be told one is not participating in an event when all those annoying fly outs occur for a month and the unwanted prizes accumulate borders on farcical.
