Having an issue with text not working on my game. In game mail doesn't work, it's blank, text on all production buildings also does not work and all buildings, I think , are not getting the correct translation working properly making the text either invisible or bugged.
Basically all text in game does not seem to be working anymore.
I have tried going through the support channel and posted a screenshot but unfortunately have heard no response yet.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I am not sure what to do to correct this.
Can anyone help?

If I ever end up with this as a problem I just log out be sure to clear my browser history then log back in. I find this works for most things

Hi All, have you noticed that the font used in all of the text has changed to a Roman Serif font and the size has been reduced.   This makes it more difficult to read than the old Bold font.

Please change it back, and use a decent font size..

I think you are playing the game in HTML version. If you want older version than swicth from   HTML to flash version.
Switching option is above to time and near to forum button.

Thanks Jitu, yes you are correct, I was trying the HTML version.    So switched it back, and all is Ok once again.

I think you are playing the game in HTML version. If you want older version than swicth from   HTML to flash version.

This is so strange because for some of us, it's a larger sans serif font which is easier to read. But I know some have been plagued with the Roman serif.

HTML performance

The HTML5 server crashes constantly.

The image of the game is not clear as in flash.

The content of the messages is always condensed (although a person has entered the space between one sentence and another).

The glove to move a farm is out of control.

When this happens, a farm moves by itself.

The mouse that comes back and a half turns into a stick.

It is impossible to open two accounts (on 2 different servers) simultaneously, without blocking the game every 2 minutes if you play through HTML5.

Used Providers - Google Chrome and Edge.

That's happened to me as well, all I did was log out and back in. After doing that, it worked fine.

Turn the tablet sideways (and enable rotation, if it's not enabled already).

Don't ask me why, but it works.

Do the skins have anything to do with the lag? Should I remove all skins from my farms?

When I played at members' farms of smaller size and lesser skins, the lag is not that horrible.

Please suggest.

I've wondered this, and I have also noticed that each time I add a fertile field I seem to have more lag with each one too.

Coz they are fertile? 
Or may be coz they are bought with gold. Gold has more inertia :P

I actually think that bigger farms just have more lag, because it takes longer to load more items.

I suspect that @MRG1 (US1) has hit the nail on the head here and it's more about the size of the farm. Larger farms mean more to load. But if you're willing to experiment we'd be glad to know if it helps! Though I wouldn't think it would make much of a difference.

Just in case, I had to manually update My windows 10 cause it did not do it automatically like it was suppose to do, and after I had updated My windows 10 , My Edge was saying it was edge # 42 not # 44, so I had to contact Microsoft to make sure it was # 44 and it was, so I went back to HTML mode and looks ok so far, I do apologize for not realizing this earlier, Edge is suppose to update when Windows 10 does but I guess I will have to keep checking it Myself from now on and not rely on My computer to do it automatically, thanks for your time.

I'm using chrome with the HTML version. A few concerns - the font is a bit hard to read, chat is laggy, pictures are not as sharp as in flash, some weird stuff, like cherries are not available to use for making cherry cookies in the bakery but they are there for making fruitcake with cream. 

Thanks for all the effort with swapping to HTML though.

Cherries have to be in your barn to use for making cherry cookies, not moved into the bakery inventory.

That is odd, perhaps you skipped an update somehow but as you say it should be automatic in most cases. Hopefully your contact with Microsoft will shed some light on that, I can't imagine how the updates weren't applied for you. But glad things seem to have improved, that's great news!

Ok this is really Odd, I logged into the game this morning and was working on My farms when what do you know My Curser changed again from the ( Arrow ) back into the Letter ( I ), even with the Updated version of Edge # 44, so I guess it is not on My end after all, and that I will have to switch back to flash instead of being in HTML again, this is so confusing as well as Frustrating, .


Update> I logged out of the Forums page back into the game and the ( I ) is back to being the ( Arrow) again when I am still  in HTML mode, yup this game is just getting weirder by the day.

Started using HTML in earnest and must admit it's a lot quicker, only thing i have found is when in a mission cannot click and visit anyone in same mission.  Bit annoying if you want to sparkle them.

Still having the occasional cursor problems with it freezing in "move" mode, and sometimes turning into the line. Closing the game and coming back fixes it.

Nothing glows like it should when sparkled which means not always knowing something is sparkled until it's too late. (Like the windmill issue, only now it's everything on my farms.) Some in my coop don't have the problem.

Lag is really bad after about 15 minutes --  logging in and out helps, but not practical, esp., during CCs.

I have run into this as well I notice after using the message service (mail) the cursor changed from the arrow to the I. Had to reload being sure to clear my browser history before logging back in, which fixed the cursor.

Jinkies! And I see you @Data King (US1) are reporting the same issue. could you both give me the exact version number of Edge you're using? If you're not sure how to check (or anyone else isn't for that matter):

• Open Microsoft Edge.

• Select Settings and more (...)  in the upper-right corner, and then select Settings.

• Look for your version under About this app.
  

I'd love to get the gals and guys in the office checking this one out. If possible, could you describe the steps that lead up the the cursor changing? something like:
>Load up the game
>When game has loaded, open up email software and click in a space I can type
>Go back to Big Farm
>Cursor is displayed as uppercase 'I'
>Drink cup of tea, thirst quenched! (very important step to describing any bug I'll have you know)

I use Chrome. HTML has gotten better but the words and numbers do not fit the boxes well so they can't be read; this makes it difficult to play. In addition, the numbers in the timers jump with every second that passes. For me, this makes the game unplayable in HTML and I switch back to Flash.

@SphinctaJim (AU1) Has this issue been resolved for you?  I see that you were using the HTML version in your screenshot, but for some reason it was not saying HTML in the bar next to your happiness & the bar below that is saying "HudTime" instead of showing the time. If all those issues are still occurring, please can you try switching back to Flash to see if they are also happening there  & let us know which browser you are using. Thanks.

I use chrome Version 69.0.3497.92 and I can not copy and paste with the HTML5 anymore. Being a leader where I have to copy and paste user names all the time this is very important.

Is this something you plan to fix or add I hope.
