Greetings Big Farmers!
Today we’re proud that we can finally present to you our new event in more detail. We have been teasing it for quite a while now and are happy to introduce the Village Fair!
Besides this great new event, there will also be some other pieces of content for you to enjoy.
The Village Fair
Welcome one and all to the new Village Fair Event! - Which will run from August 16th - 22nd (So not right after the update as we previously thought)
This is your entrance to our new event!
First, why do we need the Village Fair Event?
The Village Fair will take the place of the old Village League, as explained in the recent "Cooperative Village League - Closure Notice!"
The new Village Fair is also intended to replace the occasional Cooperative Championship, so that the overall number of CC will be reduced & we will run the Fair instead, for a bit more variety in the schedule.
Now, here is a short overview of the event and the new things that you can find in it!
All new reward lines! - In this event you can get the usual hard work and ranking rewards, as well as rewards for each challenge you complete with our challenge support items - the more points you gain per challenge the more rewards you receive!
All new boosters! - You can earn boosters for the event, by completing a challenge for the 1st time or from the WoF, which will boost the amount of points you get for the four types of items you will grow; field items, orchard items, mill items and coop/animal items. Booster time can be earned by producing extra goods in a challenge or purchased on the booster screen, with your personal funds or with the Cooperative funds. - Purchase your booster time and get busy to bump that percentage up a notch or two!
Your challenges, your way! - It’s up to each Cooperative to decide what challenges they complete. Strong on apples but weak on pigs? Then you can choose a challenge which focuses on orchard products. Haven’t got much time? Choose a shorter challenge. There’s lots of options to play how you want to play, and the best part is that you won’t ever lose points! Start a challenge and realise you need to head to bed? Don’t worry! You might not complete the challenge but any points you gain will still be kept.
There’s plenty of new features and lots of fun to be had! - We are compiling a video to give you an overview of the new event and how you and your Cooperative can get involved, which we will be releasing tomorrow.

It should also be noted that the event will have additional features added to it in the coming weeks, such as a Cooperative ranking system that will promote or relegate your team into another league based on your score, an internal Cooperative membership ranking so that you can get some extra rewards (and praise your most diligent farmers!) and a permanent home in the Village which will display all the latest event scores and details, even when the event is not running. For now we would like to present you with the core features of the event to help you all to see what it involves and what you will need to do, then we will add these last features a little later down the line when you are comfortable with the new event.

Well the team tried all day to get the update out, but rather than doing it just before they go home, it is now ready to go in the morning - We don`t have an exact time, but it won`t be before the whole team arrives at work.
This also means that the Village Fair event will now start tomorrow afternoon & our beloved CM will be up all night cutting & splicing the video for you & we will post it as soon as its done.
