Cooperative Village League - Closure Notice

In the upcoming update the Village Fair will finally find it's way into the game - More details about that will be provided in the coming days, but for now we are posting a short notice about what is planned for the end of the current Village League:
The Village Fair will take the place of the old Village League, and this means we wave goodbye to Medals and the Reward Shop. But fear not! While the Village League will come to an end on Sunday/Monday August 12th/13th, after midnight there will be a final medals pop-up, which will open the shop for those of you who wish to spend those last medals (the shop will only be accessible once, via the pop-up, to allow medals to be spent or converted to Village Dollars and the wagons in the village will no longer appear, so you will not be able to access the shop from there). You will get the option to spend the medals or transfer them into Village Dollars as usual. After this, the Village League will no longer be accessible.
Please keep in mind that these plans might change, because the shop and the league wagons are connected and we are not 100% certain that it is possible to maintain one while removing the other.

The deactivation of the alliance league was (quite obviously) not successful as we suspected it might have some issues. Instead we will attempt deactivation on Wednesday, which is currently the planned date for the update & the start of new Village Fair.
The Village League will stop after the update, the wagons in the village will not be there any more, but the popups should still work, meaning you should still get the medals for any challenges completed this week. The store will only be accessible from the popups, until we completely shut the event down (so that you have a chance to spend your last medals in case you did not login for a couple of weeks, due to summer vacation for example).
As we do not know for sure exactly what will still show after the wagons are removed (for example the tab on your screen below the next harvest timers) we would advise you to complete any current challenges before Wednesday - While it is likely you will be able to complete challenges after that, I would not bet on it.
