Events, are only going to increase in frequency ... that is the way GGS makes more revenue than before ...
GGS built this game for MONEY .... the Bosses and the shareholders want more n more MONEY ... this is a fact.
Having more events every month ... that is eventually what will happen ...
Oktoberfest was supposed to be just once a year, but GGS saw, it is earning them revenue ... so they are giving it more now.
GGS will think in a way which makes them more money ... not how we wish.
If all events run all the time, the top gold spenders cannot afford to keep buying gold to keep themselves and their co-op at top rank ... if they do, GGS benefits ... if they dont other co-op's and players get a chance to win more events ...
And if GGS see's they can milk gold buyers even more like this, they might as well start everything at once.
And for other players, non-gold buyers who keep saying, they will leave the game ... i doubt GGS cares ... as they are not revenue earning customers for GGS ...
Just look at that 5 new decos .. " Greta Masterpieces " ... it has been introduced, so that everyone across all servers keep skipping to be at top ... everyone spends tons of gold ... and just 1 player gets only 1 deco ...
GGS designed the entire " Greta Masterpieces " for earning more revenue ... even if it benefits just 1 player .
Gold Lock ... hundreds or thousands of players benefit ...
Greta Masterpieces - 1 player benefits ...
GGS chose 1 gold buyer over hundreds of non gold buyers who want to save gold and worry about misclick ...
Running everything at once ... will mean ... if you won 3 GML in 3 months ... now you will win 3 GML in 1 month ... playing the same way as you did before ...
Gold buyers will either loose their minds and go on a spending spree ... or admit losing a few events every now and then, which opens up an opportunity for others to take top spot .. that is as of now and will forever be with anyone who spends gold a lot.
So back to 2 cc in a month will be doable and you can still have fun playing.

U will realise the importance of rewards only when rewards become like what Byron told(1 wildflower and 1 dollar
Nowadays CC's are more annoying than fun . Earlier days , it used to be so much fun , so much competition in CC's , wins & losses everything happen and there was real "strategy" used those days by the larger coop players daily to make huge rps in short time. For the smaller ones, they used to enjoy the good amount of rewards they got for their hardwork .
But nowadays its dead ,people play like automated computers who get up , start stack , collect and then shelve , no competition , no fun , nothing . Some dont even bother doing this .The reason for this is too many CC's a month and the crap rewards .
It will be much more enjoyable when CC frequency is reduced to 1 or maximum 2 per month .
Actually 4 CC is more rewards than 2 CC
Usually rewards are set in an exponential schema , aka you get most rewards in the beginning than in the later parts , it promotes teamwork , cooperation
Maybe my environment is much better than yours, and its why it seems more enjoyable for me ( its hard to know )

The CC used to be enjoyable, now we see that CC notice, and say %^%# NOT another one already!?

You managed to take the shortest month of the year and cram 4 CCs in it !!
I'm sure if you were to bring an expert in they would tell you. If you were to run just 1 of each competition event a month, making your customers happy, you'd make more money then you are now. Happy customers will tend to spend more money for their enjoyment.
