Fish Disappeared

I was playing the Hard Work event for Fishing  ,   and I suddenly went from over 1 day remaining to only 35 minutes when I increased catch from 8 items per second  to 10 Items per second.
How and why did this occur ?

There are some fish where you are chugging along for 24 hours and then you move them up to 10 and boom you only get a short amount of time.

I dunno what you see there that tells you which fish to use...

@archerbob (AU1) maxiroy is referring to this chart here. You first select your FXP level and then you click on the different fish shown in blue to go to the section that gives you the numbers for that particular fish.

You have to keep swordfish, lobster, salmon and cod at lvl 9 or the time remaining will drop drastically.  Shellfish, tuna and herring can run at lvl 10.
