Update Mar 8th - A Need for Speed with Seeds, New Themed Event Changes and More!

Hey everyone!
Line up on the starting line and get yourselves ready for another update! Coming to you on the 8th of March, we have a long awaited (and often teased) new addition to our Themed Events and some requested changes from you, our community!
Speed Challenges
Load up on pasta, find your fastest shoes and get yourselves ready for a race in the Speed Challenge!
In our five standard Themed Events (UFO, Asia, Fairytale, Camping and Hawaii) you will now have an extra challenge!
A limited number of players per server (different amounts based on server size) who finish the regular Themed Event fastest will be placed into a new speed challenge.
With seven new quests to complete, in each round the fastest players will be let through to the next round. By the end of the final round it will have been whittled to the last few victors and the winners of the top decoration appearance.
The new dialogue for the event will provide you with the information on how many players can enter a subsequent stage, along with your own progress. You will only be able to see if you were fast enough to have reached the next stage once the current stage has been completed.
Only players in the highest three difficulty levels of the regular Themed Event are eligible for the Speed Challenge and each difficulty stage is separate from each other.
Each challenge has its own unique decoration to win, with a higher value deco being gained for completing each stage of the challenge.
There will be no changes to the normal version of the Themed Events.
Decoration details will be found in the deco tower after the update.

to enter the speed challenge (this is different per server and difficulty)
PLEASE NOTE: This
feature is not targeted at lower level players or those who prefer not
to spend gold. This feature was designed with those who have mastered
the original challenges in mind to give them an extension of the event,
but as mentioned the original events will remain unchanged.

You may also have heard that we picked a winner of our decoration design competition from a few weeks back. We are now proud to reveal the design that farmerrose12 designed with us and will be featured in this update! The Fiery Phoenix is a beautiful decoration designed won by farmerrose12 and will be added only to that account. Then, after a few weeks, you will all have the opportunity to purchase this awesome deco along with a water variation. Congrats again farmerrose12!

Wedding Planner and Food Truck Changes
And finally, we have made some balancing changes to the Wedding Planner and food truck events:
A couple less donate quests than before
Lower task requirements for certain tasks across all stages
No more edge plants!
With these changes we hope the events are now more accessible and enjoyable for you all. While it can take some time to fit changes like this into our schedule we are dedicated to collecting your feedback and using it to shape the game wherever we can. We will iterate the feature in the future and check the data we collect in the upcoming month.
