I understand this is meant to be a guide to help players, but providing such information in plain view for GGS to see is also giving GGS developers the means and know-how of where to make necessary changes to make tasks harder for the player to achieve.

I remember a similar guide was posted here in our forums on how to complete the temp farms in X amount of days without using gold.   GGS response: shorten the amount of days of the event.

Another prime example:  When the DSF first arrived many posted on the forums how they were earning X amount of dollars in just 1 day.   And you already know how GGS responded.

There are times when you have a good thing going, best to keep it secret, keep it safe.
    Just my opinion. :|
I am unsure why they would increase the difficulty to obtain the viking duck coop when it is already incredibly difficult to collect it. I would have spent over 15,000 gold and about 300,000,000 farm dollars to collect it and I was very active as well. Many players would not be as active and would have to spend more gold to get it.

Regarding the deep sea fishing, I think we can agree that it was a bit ridiculous to be able to earn over 150 million farm dollars per day, so then hard work is no longer necessary to collect the farm dollars to build your farm.
BS Ninja.. There are now not enough farm dollars  to go ahead with upgrades to Matildas, Farmlabs & Lester SS as there are TOO many CC where big farmers are donating money for boosters to Coops etc as well as the MONEYPIT Temp farms:-(  And ontop of that we are faced with lots of bugs which are not getting enough attention;-((

Now I have 4 peacock pens and I am upgrading my silo to level 3 overnight. I will build more peacock pens tomorrow and prepare to upgrade the silo to level 4 the following night while trying to prepare to build some orchards and a composter as well.

We can earn about 2 billion farm dollars with very well developed farm and good use of the organic market and fishing market. I think that is enough for events such as temporary farms, booster funds for cooperative events and the spare funds can be spent on those remaining buildings. I only donate about 100 million dollars a month for the cooperative events since they come so frequently now though.

  • umm how can feed so much peacocks with only 2 field?

umm how can feed so much peacocks with only 2 field?
You need to keep the fields running with peanuts as much as possible and use humus when you can get the composter. Then you can get just enough to keep the level 3 tropical mill constantly producing peacock feed and that will allow you to constantly feed about 10 peacock pens. It is even easier if you use a peacock feed handbook.
  • well i got all lvl 1 book mentioned here

If you can't play that actively then you will need to substitute gold. It can easily cost tens of thousands of gold to obtain the tropical cowshed if you can only log in a few times a day.

I now have 7 peacock pens and I have had the silo upgrading overnight to level 4 so that I can produce fertiliser once the upgrade is complete. I will build a mango orchard today and I will see what happens with everything else. If I get enough time then I will build a few more peacock pens or start building another mango orchard.

  • this is what i got so far
  • ninjahuman (AU1)ninjahuman (AU1) AU1 Posts: 2,526

That looks good so far. You can add a few more peacock pens and then you can add a mango orchard or two to start collecting mangos since you will need heaps of them.

Thanks. I used between 4,000 and 5,000 gold at the start which also helped. Yours is also going quite well so far. :)

Try to get all of your orchards to at least level 3 as soon as possible. Fertiliser is very valuable in the temporary farms and it is best to try to get as much from the orchards as possible.

well 1 is level 3 and then i decided to start a coconut after i had already built the other mango but why level 3 and not 4 that would make even better use of fertilizer right?

Yes, level 4 is most ideal but I never use fertiliser in an orchard unless it is at level 3.

This is mine at the moment:

I am going to clear some expansions and try to prepare to add a coconut orchard and I will upgrade the mango orchard to level 4 overnight. I am also going to complete the final step in chapter 1 today.

They take up more space and we can't get dung fast enough to produce enough fertiliser. That is why we need lots of level 1 peacock pens and we have to harvest them actively.

  • I have been following this thread since I started this island, I have a specific question.

I got to task 1 of chapter 2, but if I stop planting peanuts in the day I do not have food for turkeys, the question is if I only have to sow the grapes at night, even though it will take me 5 nights to complete this task. Otherwise, stop producing turkey feed and focus on getting the grapes.

I have followed the instructions and I try to match all the instructions that you are proposing, I leave an image of my progress to date.

At night I will finish the coconut and during the day I will take the third mango to level 4.

Then I will clean a space and improve houses, to start the construction of 4th mango or 2nd coconut, what is better at this point?

Excuse my English, but it's not my language.

It won't work because the peacock pens take a lot less space than the lemur pens do. And we can't even produce enough lemur feed to feed 3 lemur pens three times per day, which will not give us enough dung to run the orchards constantly. The peacock pens are also useful for the task that requires us to collect 55,000 peacocks.

That is good to hear that you have been using this. For that task, you need to collect grapes from a field 7 times while using island humus. I would recommend to have them grown overnight 3 times and then grow one field of them during the day once. That will take about 3 days but there is plenty of time at the moment.

Here are links to all of the chapter tasks that may help for planning ahead:

    Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3

I would recommend building a 4th mango orchard and then a 2nd coconut orchard, since producing fruity flips would already use the mangos much faster than the coconuts and we only need to produce tropic stars 5 times for the chapter tasks.

I usually do this , finish the peacock task in morning when  wake up so that i can collect grapes twice after it is done and then plant one field with peanut and one with grapes for the day and again grapes during night . This way i complete the task in one or one and half days max .

Nice job. It can sometimes be difficult to progress quickly while maintaining a good happiness amount. As long as it is above 0 it should be fine.
