Update Jan 31st - Chinese New Year + Compensation and more!

Hi Big Farmers,
We have a new update coming and there’s no better place to read about the contents than right here! So without further ado, we present to you some patch notes:
Compensation
Some of you have been waiting for compensation for the recent issues we faced in the game. First off, we would like to thank you for your patience as we got everything prepared for you. We will now go into more detail about the compensation packages you will receive:
Snowman Event
Those who had submitted an issue to our support team with receiving their rewards in the snowman event will receive a Snowman decoration with the 5th (highest) level appearance
This will feature 50 HP and 17 VHP with a quality rating of 7
Santa’s Wishlist Event
Users who did not receive the 5th chapter decoration and were supposed to will receive it with a HP of 45, VHP of 15 and a quality rating of 7
Other Events
Due to issues in events during December, we have created some packages we will provide to all players. These will be given to provide you with an easier start to the next event and allow you to gain some of the activity rewards at very little cost and effort. These packages include things like Super Feeds, Seaweed products and other items relative to each event. We have also included in some packages certificates to help you activate your farm machines in certain events as well. Events that will be compensated are:
Co-operative Hard Work Event ending on December 22nd
Goldfish Rescue ending on December 24th
Player Info Dialogue
The player info dialogue has now been altered, and you can see a mockup version of it above! Players in an co-op will also see more co-op related options. This screen will also be shown when you click on another player’s name in the rankings or your own co-op for example. We think this new screen is much neater, and it will now be a consistent look whether you are looking at your own profile or that of a friend’s!
Fishing XP Bar
The fishing XP bar, currently only shown in Oleg’s fishing menu, will also be shown in the Deep Sea Dock area. This means you will no longer have to switch farms just to find out how much FXP you have, and how much you need to reach that all important next level. We added this feature due to some direct feedback from players and hope it is now much easier to see where you are and how much you need for your next fishing level!
Chinese New Year
It is almost that time of year again when the Chinese culture has its New Year celebrations, and in usual Big Farm style we will celebrate too! With this update, we will add some all new rewards to Chinese New Year event you know and love. We have also included some completely new flag designs that we think you’ll love!
And of course, since this year is the Year of the Dog (woof woof!), we have a dog themed decoration to hand out this year to those who succeed in the event.
The event itself will have the same rules you are familiar with from last year, and if you have not previously played this event you can find the description HERE.
Valentine’s Day
We will also have our usual annual Valentine’s search! The rewards here have been updated a little too, but the event will again feature the same mechanics as last year and you will be tasked with locating some sweet treats for sweethearts around your farm.
Cookie Change
There will also be some changes to how cookies are stored by the game. For more details on that you can see this post HERE.
In short, please ensure you have both a registered email address for the game and have written your password down to store it in a safe place. If you cannot recall your password and usually login to the game automatically then you may have to re-enter your login details before this functionality can be used again. To avoid this and ensure you do not run into trouble, be sure to read the post linked above in full.

We don't have the start time for this update at this time, but will let you know as soon as we hear anything, if they tell us before the warning icon appears.
The update is currently planned for between 14:30 -16:00 CEST.
The update is now completed, however, the cookie change didn't happen today, there were some things not quite ready so it was delayed until next update to avoid any issues.
