Need for More than One Member With Power to Boot A Player

This morning, our coop had a member who got on the chat board and exploded with foul language.  Fortunately, our leader was on the game and was alerted as to what was going on so the player was booted.  What if she hadn't be on the game?  Since she is the only one with the power to remove a member, how could other members stop the foul language?
Do other coop leaders have a solution to this problem?  Have they had it happen in their coop?

I posted in suggestions section that leaders should be allowed to appoint two assistant leaders/Senior deputies these could be allowed the ability to boot out any player (except the leader obviously)These two could also be appointed as a leader should the leader go absent for a long period.

I have suggested several times that there be levels of deputies -- some with more power than others -- and the leader can appoint those s/he wants to have booting power, for example, and those s/he doesn't.

Adding, it also would be a helpful feature if the leader could assign the person s/he wants as successor instead of the system automatically appointing the highest-ranking deputy should the leader go AWOL
  • Tony and Artful, your recommendations make a lot of sense.  I hope someone with the ability to make it happen with do it and do it right away.  It's hard for me to believe this issue hasn't been brought up before and resolved.
