Personal Rewards in events....
But, the final rewards given in events are no where near to the standard at what they should be considering the effort and costs of reaching them.
For example, for 110,000,000 points in this fish thing, we get 2 sea weed humus.... TWO
for 127,000,000 points, we get 30 seaweed fertiliser.... thats like enough for 3 starts of production....
and for reward 30, which for my level requires 189,000,000 points which means an average of 219 points per second for the whole event, you get 2 medium gold boxes.....
Not worth it at all.

Cost is still very high though.
BUT… being a deco nut, what would have kept me interested in the whole goldfish thing is if I could SEE FISH all the time.
Put a nice big fish tank right on my farm somewhere.
Then as we add fish we SEE the fish swimming around. Feed the fish they come up and eat.
Maybe actually net some out to send to the coop pond. right now I have no clue if the pond has fish in it or not. Or how to get any there. Makes no sense what so ever.
Also on my wish list is that ALL new events get a test on the PUBLIC test server.
And not to just test for glitches, which I'm sure your techs can do on their own.
This is to test with actual players something new. You might have found out how disgusting the brown fleas were and rethink that. Could have saved the need for yet another hot fix.
Might see how confusing this whole event is without someone coming to the forums to try and detangle the complicated web of what and how to do what.
And for what? Village happiness? Not at all worth the time, cost, involvement…. not at all. HUGE let down.
By the way. (It's soapbox time…)
Typically gold fish are NOT caught by a fish hook. You do that when your going to eat the fish. Not keep it as a pet in a pond OR tank. Actually people who practice catch and release just for the "sport" of fishing, are not doing the fish any favors at all. I snorkel all the time in summer and see fish with nasty fungus filled wounds in their mouths likely from hooks that broke their protective bodyslime. Fungus ONLY attacks where there is a wound. A hook sure does that.
It can get so bad they cannot eat. They will die a very slow and cruel death.
Catch and release should be IF you catch one too young, or full of eggs. Then yea, do the right thing and let it live. (hopefully.) Otherwise, fish for food. Or just leave them be an enjoy nature.
