My Horses not Leveling up !

Blue Denim (US1)Blue Denim (US1) US1 Posts: 5,253
I would like to know why one of My Horses is not Leveling up at all, it got to Level 24 and wont go any higher, I have maxed out the training for that horse a few times to try to get her higher but to no avail, I keep picking Horses in the races that are way higher then Mine as well, and she still stays at Level 24, she has been that way for  a very long time 6 months to a yr, is it a glitch or what?

That means it's time to breed that horse to another of the same level.  You really can only increase the levels on a single horse to a certain point - after that it will not progress.  Once you breed to another horse of the same level, the offspring will start out at an average of the 2 parents.  You train that horse up, breed to another, and so on.  Takes time, but you get there eventually.

That is all good but it does not help Me, it only tells Me that I have to let My horse Breed then give her up, which I do not wish to do, but thanks for the advice just the same.

so your basically telling Me that I have to give up all My 6 to 7 Horses that I have worked to train up to get to a higher Level , then I guess I wont be getting My Horses to another Level, cause I am not going to work My behind off on them to have to give them all up, so this game is bogus in that part of it, but Thanks for the advice just the same, it was much appreciated , and at this point in time she is the only Horse that Level, the rest are lower then she is, I do not wish to train them only to have to keep changing them, that is just lame to Me, the game people should of come up with something better then that.

That's how real horse trainers do it.  If you are emotionally attached to your horse, you can always give the new one the same name.  That's what I do.  It's actually quite fun to build a strategy, see your horses level up, and win better prizes.

To do well in the tournament only requires one horse, 6 or 7 are of little use. The aim is to breed those so as to combine all their strengths into one horse so as to win gold mining licences.

Ya I tend to get attached to My pets either in the real world or in My games :) , I was not sure I could give them the same name though, cause in My other game I am not able to do that, I have to give them names like Junior or the 2nd or 3rd and so on, but thanks for the advice, it is appreciated.

I am not really into the tournament stuff, I Luv My Pets more, so that is why I have 6 or 7 Horses, I am not in a Co-op either and do not wish to be in one at this point in time of My game, I think I have done well so far without being in a Co-op, but thanks for the advice it is appreciated, and as for Gold Mining in the game, I have yet to even do that since I have not been able to save up the 2k in order to mine gold yet, I am almost there and when I am able to I got a few of those already to use up that I got from events ect, but thanks again.

Update> I was able to mine the gold 1 time finally, but that is it as I hardly ever get any of those gold licenses, I have gotten 1 or maybe 2 tops since I started this game, I have never won any of them in that wheel of fortune part, and probably never will, so I won't hold My breathe, :)

I didn't like it either when I first started but..... these really aren't "pets."  They are just graphics in a game. Not as hard to let it go if you keep that in mind.
Besides, aside from the color, (which are very limited) the horses all look the same.
And they DO all look the same while training.  All gold regardless of what you see elsewhere.

    Here's how I do it.
First horse I buy I don't even bother naming.  So train "goldie" to level 10 in all three events.
Get a second goldie and do the same.
    Breed them.
That horse, what ever name I give it I attach a 20 or if it only has room 2.
SO for this conversation lets name that one Brownie20
Start training that one in all three events until it reaches 20.

Repeat the goldies.... give the resulting horse THE SAME NAME as my other 20 horse.  (Once you get a full stable... this makes breeding so much easier.  Fewer mistakes.)

When both Brownie20's reach level 20 in everything, breed.
Lets call that resulting horse,  (Sticking with the colors theme here.) Red30

    And go on like that.
I've been at this silly game for years and the highest horse I have is 80.  (Then again before I started tacking on the level number at the end I messed up and goldie got a level 70 or so mate.  BIG mistake.)
