I do not think that is possible.  There had to be more than DSF funds to upgrade the Lab fully.  The top averages for earnings for DSF were 1 billion a week, the Lab costs 126 billion, that would still take 126 weeks to max the lab with fishing constant every day.   Even if by some chance they had their Lab up to level 50 when DSF started, which would have costed 37 billion, the remainder would cost 88,775,000 - which would take 88 weeks.  Even if there were only 10 Levels left when the DSF came out it would still have taken 20 weeks for the 20.3 billion for the last 10 levels.  I smell the use of gold.    So yes! Gold is indeed necessary if anyone wants to upgrade that Lab in their lifetime.   Was this what we were debating? Whether gold was needed to fully upgrade the lab?

Time is definitely a problem for the lab. It takes close to 8 hours to make a batch of Duck feed, 6 hours for Cow feed, 10 hours for donkey feed, 12 hours for a silver mystery box, and 24 hours for a gold mystery box, not to mention all the other feeds and ferts, and humus.  

BUT WAIT!   You can have 3 of these Labs and it would only cost $378 Billion in farm dollars or 3-6 months of mortgage payments!    

Disclaimer:  Just make sure you buy the gold in bulk

Lester will certainly come in handy for him for the markets.  IF and I stress the word IF, I had a lot of farm cash I would indeed upgrade Lester, but as it stands now,  Upgrading Lester past level 10 would not be feasible, the return would take far too long to recoop. I was busy saving for level 3 Trawlers for when I reached level 130 or I probably would have upgraded Lester to at least 10.

I think my lester tree is level three not interested in him going higher at this point maybe in future if there is a future here cause there may not be.

The only possible way was they threw a ton of gold fasting fishing holes.  You can't buy that much cash. Have you looked at the cost of farm cash??? If you really do know someone silly enough to have spent that much real money to buy fake money, please send them my way. I have some prime ocean-front property to sell them. In Chicago.

No one called you a liar but I DO find the thin skin hilarious.   You certainly didn't explain how this mysterious spender bought that much farm cash. Hundred+ billion dollars farm cash... Check the cost in real money and the result of that inquiry should surely cast some self-doubt on your part. But FWIW, I don't believe you are lying. More than likely you were lied TO.  Lighten up, Francis, life's too short...

I just won't play that part of the game (dockyard) anymore.  There are several other parts of the game that I don't like either, so I stopped playing them too.

Just back to the classical beginnings, and guess what? ........... so much less stress.

Bigfarm CAN actually be enjoyable & relaxing!!!  No stress!   I hope many more farmers adopt this freeing mentality!

My suggestion is that a ceiling storage is introduced , as is  the case for all other items. say perhaps 5000 units .Any amount over the limit should be able to be sold at the original prices. We need some lee way ! I have continued to fish all fishing holes in the vain hope of getting more than 1 oyster hole per day , alas to no avail. Consequently I am building up large stock of lobbies, herrings etc , which I cannot use without the other requirements, I don,t mind a challenge but it is getting very difficult, the viking farm has bankrupted me and I will have to wait six months or more before I can do another one, thank you.

It only makes sense to allow us to sell fish.  I don't expect it to be at the price they sold it before the update, but this should be an option.

On Polish server a lot of people think and do the same way. 
We also have a walkout and we don't buy gold at all.

I am not forcing or asking others to do the same as me; I am just sharing what I do.  And how I am enjoying Bigfarm SO much more now, because I just play the bits/concepts/events I enjoy & am not bothered about the rest.

Some people just like to flag a post as abusive if you dare to dislike anything about GGS.  As far as I know this is an open forum and differences of opinion should be able to be discussed without flags being used.  I personally think that flaggers names should be shown.

@bdreish (GB1) It wouldn't be a good idea to show the name of who flagged a post. That would only lead to a "flag battle".   The person who flags a post isn't totally anonymous however. The Moderators can see their names and will warn a player who is abusing them.

Then why are some banned and some not for abusing this ... ?   Maybe no one should be flagging, it is only another way of being bullied by a bully....there is nothing positive about it !
