well ggs you couldnt be more wrong about the balance thing and that this needed to be done to make the game for longer time good and enjoyable to plaay.

I found back mine joy in playing the game with the WWC and the fishing. First you ruined the WWC and aftre that the fishing.
I am done with it after 4 years playing the game its back to the same old boring thing. So after 4 years of playing i made a decision to stop the game. I played with many people and wanna thank all for a wonderful time but the game is ruined for me so dont have the joy anymore to be here. Even you people could not make good what GGS destroyes.
I'm right behind you, my old friend. We had some good times but it has gotten worse than ridiculous. These people have no clue how to run a customer-based business. Send the better half my best.
The game is definitely in trouble...we did have fun while it lasted
As a business owner I am all for capitalism. I think most of us - even those critical of how much gold things cost or players who "buy wins" - have made purchases of gold and are well aware this is not a charity business. We would probably be cussing if GGS went out of business and no more farm or which ever other unmentionable GGs game might end or if they were sold to another company and the new company made drastic changes.
The crux is the manner in which this was planned, implemented, encouraged, and then pulled out from under in a mannerless and unethical format. Manipulation and lack of communication without care for their customer base. If - and that is a big and unbelievable "IF" - they had poor planning and didn't think players would actually use and realize players would gain millions in cash daily then the whole team should be fired plain and simple.
This module took months of planning and number crunching and probably went through many types of evaluations and scenerios before it was launched.
Even the "re-balancing" act was 100% planned - in advance - for weeks if not months. To believe that a few days ago some one on the dev teams said "OMG!!! look at what we have done!! The players are progressing TOO FAST and all because of the $$ from fish!! We have to stop that immediately" would be as moronic as the devs seem to think we are. To not expect blowback would also be unrealistic. And the whole team should be fired - plain and simple.
Maybe they did not expect this much - they should have though given the several recent fubars which have occurred - planned or not.
The question is who benefits from this "adjustment". NOT the players that is 100% a fact! and shame, SHAME on the postings that purport this nonsense. Is it just about the gold? NO! or making a profit? NO! Bully for them they can do that.
I think of the the German story of Hansel and Gretel where the witch fattens children by tempting them with sweets and a good place to be and then stuffs them in the oven when they are fat enough.
I know of no company on the planet that does not want to grow through new customers but retain existing ones. Have a LOYAL returning customer base.We have to WANT to spend our money.
So again I have to ask who really benefits with this? The mods are upset. Players upset. Obviously does not meet the criteria of the comany 's recent press release... Where is the "win"???
Hope that continues but I am afraid 7500 FXP daily and all the left sided tasks will also be "re-balanced" because we are "progressing too fast" and not getting the statisfaction out of our rewards and not being challenged enough.

Let's repeat the pertinent part: They admitted that they were "...neglecting the needs of our loyal audience who are playing our current titles..." They could not possibly care less about us, their loyal paying customers. Really ballsy though not very smart to publically admit that they behave this way as a business entity. Quite pathetic, actually.
Quit paying, we are being played the fool. GGS needs to completely reverse their "balancing act". Completely and now. Many accounts have already been dismantled beyond repair. Many more are on their way down the tubes. You have screwed up terribly, GGS. Own it and fix it. Prove that you can operate your business ethically. You look horrible today. Potential investors must cringe when they read your blogs and business reports. Things are looking grim for you if you continue on your present course.
Sigh, I guess it's time to start again, with a different game but don't think I will be inclined to ever purchase gold or whatever the next one will use. I spent some good money on this game (still not sure how I talked myself into that but really didn't regret it) and to feel like I have been taken advantage of, sits very badly with me. I'm just glad I didn't go crazy with the updates some players did.
I did send out my fleet today and omg you only have to come back once a day now, cuz of how long it takes to for them to fish now. The fishing has never been fast, why would they make it take longer? Anyways, i'm seriously bummed because I found a game that held my interest, started to lose it then made a wonderful change by adding deep sea fishing so made it fun to update and work my farms again, and now taken it away so that there is no more fun. I was even sneaking on at work to play, Today, I have spent more time reading the posts than playing and found it more interesting, again how sad?
GGS, You have had many players give you very good suggestions on ways to fix this serious issue, please listen and let us sell the fish for a decent price doesn't have to be as high but when you offer a contract for less than a million for 50 swordfish you have got to be kidding. Re-Balance your rebalancing because you seriously went to an extreme on the negative side. Listen to your customers and do what any good company would do with this many complaints, which is try to adjust to make it fair both to your customers and you. How many customers are you willing to lose for something that could at least be somewhat fixed?

I didn't pay for that. I want the mess completely reversed. They knew we'd make exactly what we would make off of the feature. They sold it to us. I want what I paid for. Nothing less.
