village challenge and the law of unintended consequences

while the village league might be a good idea on paper, in practice the #1 team is so far ahead all they can do is be challenged by the #2 team; all #2 can do is challenge and re-challenge #1 and be challenged by #3 and if they are far ahead of #3 that also means re-challenge after re-challenge

you either need to weight the challenges by #xp per team (i.e. tram 1 has 1000 xp team 2 had 900 so multiply team 2's efforts by 1000/900, tam 3 has 800 so against team 2 would multiply by 900/800, etc.) to make things even or find another way/event to use for challenges

coincidentally, this is still a big spender vs big spender - he who has the money spends on seaweed and produces more; while I realize you are greedy and want ever increasing amounts of our money; don't you think if the game was cheaper / fairer you might get more players spending less money each but staying with the game so spending more in aggregate, making you more money?

I have been saying this in various ways forever.

When it gets to the point of just being silly, simply ignore village challenges. Let yourself slip down a few notches then fight when you know you can win. Also a good idea is to start projects that have items that are also required in the village challenge. That can be a good impetus.
