Batches of Box of soaps

dchen1 (US1)dchen1 (US1) US1 Posts: 993
Production of Box of soaps takes only 30 minutes and only 1 batch can be produced at a time.  My barn starts to have too much wax and citrus fruits because of having to leave the shop alone for many hours when I have to do other activities away from my computer.  It would be much better if the recipes of wildflower bouquet and Box of soaps increased after a few upgrades.
I suggest that Wildflower Bouquet increases by 1 batch at upgrade levels 3 and 6 and Box of soaps at levels 7, 9, and 10.

im guessing the thinking is if you're at the comp you can run soaps all day (as profitable as honeycream), were the best money makers in the game before fish, or if not at the comp run honeycream - as they're the FF money makers the developers have given you both options that suits both types of players (at comp, not at comp)

bit like chickens vs ducks, kinda same thing

with regard to the products that grow to excess, sell a thousand at a time, good profit and still plenty in barns if called upon (or sell to walkers if they've just arrived on farm for even more profit)

You could have diminishing returns for increased batches to offset too much gain.

For instance, 1 box of soaps batch could return 30, but 2 might only give 55 and so on, but you still have to put in the same input and cost. Alternatively, you could increase production time. So 1 batch takes 30 minutes but 2 batches at once take 35 minutes each, 70 minutes total, again and so on.

The dockyard allows more batches to be made without any penalty.  I get lots of profit from making 10 batches of chum at a time.  Can it be the same way for the shop?

Many factory building upgrades such as the dockyard, distillery, and mixing plant both increase the number of batches and reduce the time for each upgrade.

I agree, I've requested this before, it's frustrating. I've tended to turn down contracts asking for boxes of soap because it's too tedious and keeps us from getting honey cream. It's not such a problem since deep sea fishing though.

For me, I rarely get contracts for box of soaps.  I still sell most of my soaps and wax.

The dockyard increases by 2 per level and reduces time by about 5% per upgrade.  (total 8 upgrade levels)  The candy factory, sugar mill, and crushing mill greatly reduces time and ingredients and increases number of batches.  (total 4 upgrade levels) The coop village factories increase batches and output, and reduces time and ingredients by a small amount every upgrade.  (total 100 upgrade levels)

The shop always uses 450 honey, 100 aloe vera gel, 220 milk, and 60 vanilla for every 7 hours and soaps always uses 30 wax, 24 citrus fruits, 54 milk, 5 olive oil, and 10 essence of jasmine every 30 minutes.  Soaps require the player to check every time soaps is ready.  There is no way to make bigger batches or queue multiple processes to be done one after another.  Honey cream takes 7 hours but 4 level 5 apiaries makes honey faster than the speed the shop can turn into profit.

If production time and batches do not increase, how will profits from the shop increase in higher levels and what is the purpose of upgrading the flower farm buildings?
The level 8 shop I have is very busy and I never ran out of ingredients for honey cream and soap and still have to sell honey and wax.
I want them to make the batches for honey cream increase by 1 per building level and soaps starting at 4 and increase by 4 per level so there is a good reason to get more apiaries and meadows.  More batches also allows more choice on times so one can choose depending on when to work and when to play.

Buy upgrading a shop, you get more of a product for the same integrients.
For example lvl 9 shop gives you 33 soaps, lvl 10 shop 38.
Production times and number of integrients stay the same, as you said.

Currently, if the shop is always busy making honey cream and soaps, the only upgrade that increases profits is the shop but it requires 15 workers, 50 million dollars, and the architect.  Profits dont increase much for meadow, olive orchard, citrus orchard, apiary, and distillery.  When new features that cost more money are released, the shop will make very little money unless they reduce the time and increase the batches in the shop for upgrades higher than 6.
