Travel Time for the deepsea boats........

Okay, I'm kinda at a loss on this one, and maybe someone can help or explain........I just equipped a level 3 runabout to fish for tuna and herring at a spot whose standard travel time to that location is 3 hours......well, the boat itself saves 30 minutes, so I didn't put the extra time saver guy on there to save a little money........but when I deployed the boat, it said travel time 8 hours!!  Sooooo, can we not trust what the fishing location tells us?  orrrrrrr, does it vary by boat?  orrrrrr are the times there and back added together somehow?  If someone else has encountered this or figured it out, give me some advice please!  and thank you!   :s

The timer represents the entire voyage.

Travel time to the location + fishing time + travel time to return back to dock.

example an 8 hour trip may include: 2 hours travel + 4 hours fishing + 2 hours return.

The status just indicates whether the boat is traveling or fishing, not necessarily the exact travel time.

    Hope this helps (^_^)
  • Thank you for responding Seeker, I think that is the general consensus........... B)
