Revised Coop Championship Schedule
As a result of the last CC being postponed & feedback from some communities, expressing a preference for having the CC at weekends, they will now always start on a Friday, beginning this Friday (March 24th) & then every second Friday after that, April 7th, April 21st and so on.
Your BF Team
Come on GGS...this is becoming silly. You changed CC from once a month to twice a month (24 times a year) and now it's every 2nd Friday (or 26 times a year). Please tell us which "communities" have expressed a preference for having CC on the weekends. It wasn't this community.
This seems like another flagrant gold grab and importantly it deprives many players from the opportunity to enjoy the game. Many members have busy weekends, and others busy weekdays. Under the current schedule, options are available for both groups of people. Not under the 'Revised CC Schedule' - only weekend players can participate.
If you want to improve your bottom line then you need to concentrate on adding value to players (better buildings, improved yields, etc...). Simply increasing the frequency of events or changing the appearance of things (skins) are not viable long-term profit makers. In fact, they are turning people away from the game. Don't kill the golden goose.

i dont understand why u av changed it, there was nothing wrong with the old dates, at least it was more fairer it worked out different days of starting the CC.
thanks guys from the grafters , really good of u
the CCs should start each time in a different day of the week to allow everyone to participate
Beside that, the CC has become more frequent than it was until now, this in total disrespect of the protests posted in the English forums by the many players who pointed out that the CC was way too frequent
Since the beginning of this year, the CC happened twice a month (2 times every 30 or 31 days), but from now on it will be twice every 28 days
The change has been announced with a message by GGS that seems very deceptive in my opinion. Highlighting (and not hiding) changes / differences to customers is a must for any good company
Maybe not the designer fault this time, deceptive nonetheless
And why so often?
Every 2 week? Way too often. Once or 3 times a month is far enough.
And why only for weekendens? Thats strange.
Most likely not going to get an answer on the above, but still. *sighs*
There was no need to change schedule and this is not a " ...... result of the last CC being postponed.... " as announced in GGS message, rather a clumsy effort to minimize and / or hide the increased frequency of the event itself
Moreover, CCs should start each time in a different day of the week to allow everyone to participate. Set dates were ensuring just that
there was plenty of players , including me , complaining about twice a month.
it was fairer the other way , soon it would land on a weekend anyway .
when the village starts, we will av that to deal with as well, challanges etc
1-I am not sure that communities have asked for weekends only. Random start times -- some during the week, others at weekends -- ensured that everyone got their preferences once in awhile.
2-What communities have been asking for is more time between CCs, not less. Every other week is beyond the pale. Yes, coops can skip them, but they will fall in the rankings if they do.
It is quite evident that GGS pays no attention to consumer feedback. If the top tier of the company would hire outside marketing consultants and listen to them, they just might save Big Farm. Right now, it looks like they are intent on running it into the ground.
I saw nothing on thee forum about changing it to the weekend only. Stupid idea, it was much better once a month.
players have commitments on a weekend , have a think about it GGS, how this game is affecting players lives .
We weren't happy with growing frequencies of cc...we adapted to it...because we love this game and we, in fact, continue play despite all improvements...
Better to compliment them on telling us in advance, you have an advantage over other players and coops for knowing when CC is starting.
The hope is that folks will share their views and GGS will listen. So far, all responses have been for keeping CC the same (starting on the 1st & the 15th of each month). No one has expressed an interest in weekends only.
I suspect that they did not want to wait until the 2nd of April, so instead, they just threw out the old schedule and imposed a new schedule..... just to fit their need to not wait until April 2. I hope that they will return to "dates certain" like before that sometimes fall on weekends and sometimes not.
What this further tells me is that they should have run it, right alongside the Leprechaun event, and kept the schedule in place. They have run it at the same times as the HW and other "big" events in the past, so it would not be without precedent. When you deviate from the schedule this quickly and easily, it means that really there is no schedule.
If this is to be the schedule, then stick to it, no matter what.
And we haven't even started the Village League yet. That is going to throw a HUGE monkey wrench into the works, as it's like a *constant* CC running 24/7/365. If you're looking for a gold sink, GGS, get the Village done. Then maybe reevaluate bringing the CC back to a once-a-month schedule, and let the Village League pick up the slack.
dont know where their focus group is coming from but doesn't appear from to be from the people who play the game
