temp farm money

Would be nice weeing we get the temp island farms over and over if we got to keep the IE: snowdollar for the next time.

This would be especially helpful with when the Village coop starts. After all the village will take a lot of money, the temp islands take a ton of money and then there is also the coop that if you are still working on research takes a lot of cash.

I just feel if the money was not lost it would help a lot of people that aren't making millions a day keep up.

Example viking island ends I have 1 million left in back. It stays in the bank. In say 3 or 4 months when I get the viking farm again I start out with the 1 million that is already in the bank.

It would be like the runestones if you do not use them all in the market you do not lose them.

The money you have in the bank on the temp farms need not be lost and converted to Runes or whatever. In the last couple days of the temp farm, you just put only enough cash in the bank to keep your temp farm producing, keeping a minimum balance in your bank. :)

Agree with @farmerjohn 22 (US1) Last week or so I stop putting money into the temp farms, then if needed I can add small amounts at the end.
Also, if you have lots of dollars in the temp island bank and don't think you can use them all, consider demolishing a decoration: if you demolish a decoration your production costs will go up so you will spend more, and  you will get the added runestones for the decoration you demolish.

I try to spend down, too.  Still, this is a good suggestion of Stef7's to allow us to carry the money over.  And I'd really like it if we could carry the bank over at the the level we left it -- too much time is lost leveling it up to where we can even do the minimum every single time we start the farm.

Leveling up the bank is an intended mechanic.  We're supposed to have to start small and work our way up.  That's why the bank exists - if we could just directly spend our regular money without turning into temp money, people with lots of money could upgrade/expand as they please right from the start.  This would disrupt the balance of the 1st chapter, since players with lots of money could finish them much easier than originally planned.  And if they rebalanced the tasks assuming that people would do that, it would hurt all the other players who don't have hundreds of millions of dollars lying around.

Having money transfer to the next event would cause the same problem.  If someone were to have 100 million dollars at the end of a temp farm, they wouldn't be limited by the bank on the next one and could safely ignore it (they'd have to upgrade it eventually just to keep the cycle going, but that could be done during a less time-sensitive period).

For those who can remember, just think back to what happened when the gourmet and flower farms were first introduced and how quickly high level players got the basics of those up and running.  The same thing would happen here.

I understand, but I'm not sure how carrying the bank or dollars over would "hurt other players."  The runes or vouchers or whatever are turned into seeds that keep the ship going.  There is still a 6-hour time frame if the ship sets sale, and a limit to the number of horse shoes earned.  The top players already have the advantage of seeing the ship off with full loads, andearn the max horseshoes.  Seems to me that carrying the bank over just gives the lower level players a chance to move up a little more.

As it is, high level players just throw gold at the temp farms, so they already have a huge advantage.  But that's nothing new.

I never gave the bank a thought but that is a wonderful idea.

With the shorter time now to start with the higher bank would make it so much more doable.

It's supposed to be difficult, we are supposed to plan a good strategy and work hard for it. I only put farm dollars in the Island bank for the first 10 days, after that I can make enough money by just doing the daily tasks. Of course I tend to end with as little island money as possible by the time the event end... Like farmerjohn mentioned and as I suppose everybody does (when the island event ends I always see to it that I have less that 300 island dollars in my bank). BTW the left over money in your bank will be converted into runestones/shells/vouchers too after the island event ended.

It is what it is called: a temporary event - it has always been like that - so everything vanishes after 30-38-and now-24 days, including all the upgrades! Leaving the island event, or parts of the upgradings intact till the next one, would jeopardize the very backbone of this event and it's strategy system.

Construction in the candy farm gives way more vouchers than the other 2 temporary farms.  If you need vouchers and have extra money, you can upgrade buildings and place decorations for the vouchers.  I got 14000 from an upgrade that costs 500000 sugar dollars.  Demolishing undergrowth at a land expansion can give tens of thousands of vouchers.
