What is with the wake up Santa?  It has been over 10 hours since I spun and nothing works.....  Great disappointment!

same here, im waiting since 24 dec at 05:00 romania time, its been 15 hours and can't spin again
  • :) You get 1 free spin in a 24 hour period.  If you want to wake Santa and spin earlier you have to pay gold.  Click on the level of decoration that you want to play for and it will show you the amount of gold needed to wake him up.  It will cost gold though..not free until the 24 hours are over.

@Vint (US1) if you check the post just above yours you'll see that we only get 1 free spin per 24 hours

my time ran out  like yesterday on the wheel  wheel on each level shows just a colored area with a bar in it  -
still can't spin, no stars, don't know where to find stars, and wheel is not working apparently

FINALLY figured out how the dang thing works!

@Gardenfairy (GB1) Special thanks to you for mentioning we could use catalizers.  (I failed to notice the scroll down button yesterday so today I looked for them.)  Dumped my unneeded stash, got a modest little deco with a decent happiness value considering I wasn't going to donate anything else.  I am happy. :)

I donated all my normal  catty things, won myself 1st halloween castle, with 13 VHP, thats more than the train set I have been playing for, so maybe next year, just play christmas to New Year on Santas wheel buy stuff with money I saved  by  not playing this game    :D

I like the new Santa's wheel, it is a lot better than last year when all you could donate was farm $$.  I like that we can donate anything we have in stock.   I will be getting 7 level 8 deco using 0 gold.  1 per day happy dance time.  This is 100 times better than Satan's list

BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME ON THIS ONE GGS  :)

I will agree this years Santa Wheel is much better for the same reasons as Byron Longford (AU1) mentioned.
! good to decent deco per day and we have what should be 5 full days for this part of the event.
  • I hate santa wheel.
    he is stealing gold
not if you are donating it LOL

Byron I donated goods last year as well as cash  there was a big hupla over mixing seeds with the actually flowers example sunflowers seed vs sunflowers.  Well am not fond of the cooling off but on the other hand it is saving me from myself.

  • Why can I not donate certificates for Santa's Wheel?

Everything else is acceptable so why not certificates?

may be in your best interest to keep those certificates for the mine
  • You can donate mine certifictes (licenses?). I think @Angelas Place (US1)  meant mission certs :) I have tons of those too :) I would even donate RP :D

Sadly we cant donate certificates won from doing missions.I was disappointed too since i have tons of those :(

Anyway ...beside that i really like the event,Got myself nice 2 decos that otherwise i cant obtain. And it cost me useless stuff like catalysts, golden horseshoes, some food and seeds here and there to get to quality 8.And not a single dollar or stiff i really need :):*

I was under impression that it was mining licenses that were being mentioned lol
  • Unfortunately this is another confusing project.  :(

I used the first spin not really knowing what was going on (as per usual) and now have no idea what happens next or the ability to have really benefited from the first spin.

It's very disappointing.  I don't have money to spend on gold for things like this, but do have plenty of things in stock I would love to be able to use in times like this.

It's just a let down.  I much more enjoy the challenges that are tough but at least doable.

I started a new thread so this wouldn't get lost amid the other posts.

And, if this has been addressed, please don't be irritated because I didn't see it.

Is it possible to "bank" your donations within the game?  For example, could I donate 2,000 milk, but not spin, yet?  Then when I get more milk, can I add to my original donation and then spin, or would the first donation just disappear?

    Thanks in advance.

@swphk (AU1)  Thanks.  But if I made the first donation without spinning, but left it until the next day, when I came back to it, would it still be there?  I know it remains within the visit to the wheel, but what if you leave the wheel for a day or so?
  • Data King (US1)Data King (US1) US1 Posts: 7,994
I would think as long as you are able to get all your donations in with in the 24 hour period you should be fine. If you know you're going to be away for a couple of days then do not donate.

:) Has anyone tried this?....I am not sure I would do this unless one is willing to take the risks.  With the bugs we have had I guess I am ultra cautious.

And yes I realize it is only Day 2 but someone might have tried the idea yesterday.

    Edited to combine posts.

You will not lose the donations if you don't spin. You have all the time the wheel is present to donate for the first spin. Of course, the longer you wait the less decos you will get (due to the cool-down period).
I am 100% sure as I'm slowly working my way up to the top decos since the event started and I haven't lost the points donated. Last year it was the same.

Thank you!  Good to know you can build up your donations over the course of the event.
