Thank You
Appart from that I wouldn't get excited about simple commercial slogans.
Your enthusiam is endearing but I remain skeptical until it proves otherwise.
As for the village, I think right now its about building the village together but not everything has been added just yet. We'll soon get to see what the village league is all about which looks like we'll have to collect from our farms for it. Here's the OA....

We'll just have to wait & see how it goes but for now its too early to say since we haven't seen all the features yet.
It is so easy to make unkind comments when one does not actually know what's going on or how things work.
Like you, I will reserve judgement about the new village features until we're "in" it more fully and have had a good chance to explore and make calculations as to whether our coop members can "afford" to get involved in it or not.
The game is getting so many features now (horses, temp islands, challenges, Village, talk of another permanent farm, etc), it seems to me that each of us will have to give some serious consideration as to which features and aspects we will focus on and pursue.
But it'll definitely be wise to first check everything out thoroughly, not jumping to conclusions, in order to make the best possible choices/decisions.
In the meantime, just keep working your farm as you see fit. I'm sure you're not the only one in the coop who is in the same boat.
There is no need to vote as a deputy or leader can start an upgrade without a single vote. I see that many coop are having the problem of getting everyone on the same page you have 10, 20 30 50, people wanting to run on their own self will. I am not a fan of this CV village at all with particular HATE with that village league and the Jetty What was a fun game has turned into a lot of hurt feelings, frustration, tension, disappointment. Come GGS fix what you broke. Love this japan event though we need these developers fixing the mess.
I am a deputy in my coop. I come here every day to read what is going on. After reading how bad the jetty was, I sent a message to our leader asking her to send out a coop message to tell members to stay away from the jetty until further notice. She did. We have players in our coop that have fingers that can't keep from clicking on everything.
Regarding the orignal topic of this thread (see the title), I'm so far compelled to assume that the answer is a big fat NOTHING.
As far as I can tell, you can make a decent profit producing with the factories. I'm imagining that, like the Fish Restaurant, when you get up into higher levels, you'll be able to make a really good profit.
Yarnacle is a ridiculous bust. Those "gifts" need to be something useful. And the amounts needed to repair Yarnacle's damaged boat are just silly. Ignoring him completely for now.
I suspect the Challenge Hill is going to finally reach a level where the co-op rankings hardly ever change and we're always challenging and counter-challenging the same co-ops. It'll be a nice way to get some extra prizes, but really just a non-event. And the target production is WAY too high. I get that BigFarm wants these challenges to be more long term, but right now for the number of members we have in our co-op, they're like two or three-week operations. The result is that pretty much everyone ignores them. They have to ignore them because they need to keep their farms running! Any production that contributes to the challenge is pretty much incidental.
The horse breeding meadow sounds dubious to me. Not that many play the horses at all, and I don't see that a different way of breeding horses is going to excite anybody very much.
But what the heck? It's not like this has much impact on our farming and other co-op activities. The rewards are too small to want to stretch yourself out for. Ultimately, the Co-op Village is currently very ignorable. So I'm perfectly willing to punk along, participating in the Village when I don't have anything else to work on, and waiting to see if BigFarm actually turns this into something interesting and profitable.
The HorseMeadow may be useful for lower level players who have the good sense to not play any of the temporary farms. It allows one to improve a horse without the need of horseshoes but it may not be cost effective. (not got enough data yet to try any math)
