Upcoming Championship
I don't believe it is up to the players of this game to support the whole Good Game Studios company. I love playing this game and I am very competitive, but I am walking away from this championship, as I will not support a company, who downsizes and then stops/slows way down in answering support questions.
I would love to hear everyone opinion on this matter.

My advice is always to play so that the game is fun. If the missions are no fun for you, don't do them, but you will miss out on rewards. I use these rewards (seaweed, special seeds, etc.) in future missions and regular game play.
It is also helpful to change your mindset going into missions. Play to earn RP vs play to win. All missions give RP, and we can shelve those we know we cannot add much more to, so we can play multiple missions at a time - earning many points and certificates in short order. High harvests give extra RP for everyone in the mission, so gold use can be a win for all. Celebrate all progress and rewards.
I do not like that the top prizes are only achievable at a very high cost to the winners, but that will not change in this game. Gold is part of the equation. To each their own with how and how much people choose to invest in their entertainment. No judgement.
I have learned just to play the game my way, build my farm as I can, and not invest too much energy in events that can be bought.
If missions were played within leagues, it might be a different story.
Our team will be also taking part in the CC for the rewards we can earn as group together. Just as @AlabasterGamer (US1) posted above
I do the blue ribbon missions whether there is a cc on or not and I have nearly all my tractors upgraded I i use the certificates for my tractors when i use them.
I wish you all the best of luck and remember have fun.
Agreed .. I do it for our team too. I don't care to get a high rank or the top rewards, just working together with my team to get as many of the small rewards as possible (especially the goldflowers and gold license) so we can all benefit from them, is enough for me. Except that I don't use gold .. .. When I used gold in the past (small amounts) I ended up often in missions with gold spenders, which did not help .. but when I don't use gold, I find myself in missions with players who don't use gold, or at least that is how it seemed to me.
p.s. Hello Ema .. nice to see you here
.. will see you in the co-op in a few days
As a coop leader, I do not require our coop to participate, it is purely optional. Certainly not going to stress people to take most of time of their day, that they don't have, doing missions for small rewards.
However, each person and coop chooses whether to participate or not. If you do not have the gold to participate, then don't worry about doing missions as a priority. Just do what you normally would do.
The Co-op Championships is entirely optional for our co-op, too. No stress. And, better rewards are always preferred. I like "sparkle" rewards from the Twins to add to the fun of the event. More of those would always be welcome. Nice decos are a plus, too. They are great for lower level players and higher level players can give them to Greta. Horseshoes are always appreciated.
But i am as happy with my millons of vRp Points as with the 15K points from a level m35 player. Don,t forget the most of us were in the same position as you are in.
When i had level 78 i had ALL my machines on the highest level. Then it was my turn to help the coop to grab a lot of points. And to explane to newer members with a smaller farm WHY those machines are so important during the game and the C-C
I hope it will mmake a bit more sence for you now.
I agree about not stressing ourselves over it. Our leader tells us not to overwork ourselves over it, and just do what we can even if a little, and no one is forced to participate, meaning no one would be kicked out just because they did not participate.
It is true that most of the rewards are too small .. but I think many target the gold flowers and if possible they try to get the gold license too.
I did wonder why the rewards for the CC are so small while those for the Hard Workers event are quite big (which is good). But couldn't think of an answer to it.
Well I can not seem to get a lot of certs when you get only 20 to 30 certs a mission. So some of the vehicles are useless to me.Like farm flash have to use 50 certs to get 15 extra bake goods. Not worth my time or what little amount of certs I get.
In every aspect this new format is a nerf. In the old format all coops big and small used the same reward table. In this new format, Silver and Gold league ones are so much better than the bronze and rookie league ones, so its surely a nerf isnt it?
In the old format the top 10 coops got a special building while in this new format its only the winner of the gold league who gets one. Again a clear nerf.
All because they want to sell us more gold, while I fear and in some ways can see that instead of buying more gold people leave and find other games instead.
2 wrongs don't make a right... although it would be right of everyone sitting out of Big Farm for a bit.
