IE., IF he were to ask you to spend 21,000 and you have 40,000 (which he won't), as soon as you were to spend the requested 21,000 gold, he would go "Thanks!", pay you, and hightail it off the farm. In that case, yes, you essentially got a "Free" 21,000 gold. (Which is exactly why he's programmed to NOT do that)
Yes, Gold donated to the Co-Op counts as "spent" gold. So if you are coming up on the end of the 24 hour window and still need to spend 300 gold to push you over the amount Lester is asking for, you can throw it at the Co-Op and it'll count for Lester.
I am at 6 months now.
I have bought gold, so it is not that.
I have been playing 10mo., have bought gold when the 2 for 1 comes around, or I have a few extra dollars to spend. So far Lester has not made an appearance, so don't think buying gold has much to do with whether he visits or not.
On second thought - I think I figured out the trigger for Lester to appear on the farms: lack of gold stash. A friend of mine in our coop had 115,955 in gold and Lester showed up...after she did the selling to 10 of his friends, then he asked her to spend 190,000 in gold....yep you guessed it, she did not have enough to get in on his "good deal" without having to buy more gold, which she did not. So there is a direct link set up in the programs between the level of gold we have and the appearance of Lester. The test farm was the only place where Lester shows up and we don't have to buy more gold...
Just out of curiosity, WascallyWabbit, at what threshhold gold level in one's account does Lester stop coming to the farms?
It would be good for lower level players and players who can't afford to spend a lot of money on gold if Lester were to offer a 'Match what you spend deal'
So if you spend 100, he gives you 100. If you get my drift
I play every part of this game possible, so this is not true, when you say that I am not satisfying some condition of a formula. If I am failing to play the game properly, then you need to inform me of that.
