I would like to suggest a "Caption Contest".  The Mods give us an unusual image of something in the game and the players try to come up with a funny caption.   Here's just a sample of the kind of image I'm talking about.......

Nice suggestion, but this contest could then only be played by those whose native language is English. Not very nice to the (many other) players who don't play the English version of the game, so don't know those (right) names in English, and often need a dictionary to look things up...

Mixed up mail. Rose is having a Valentines Day Party and needs to send out invitations, but someone took her list of names! She looks around and finds a scavenger hunt sheet and a map. She goes and looks in chicken coops, duck coops, and even hops on the ship, searching for her list. Follow the clues and see where she finds the list. To make it a true scavenger hunt, the next clue has to do with something with where the clue leads her. Ex: When origanal built it has a blue roof with yellow straw inside. Clue #2 The __ __ and food choices are here too. (The same roof color and food is here too - pig pen). You can say that they don't have flower, gourmet, and temp, but they can always look at other people's farms. This would be good as it is helpful to see other's farms and they can do the comp. Thanks

This way~ pick one player and send them a picture of anything through private message and they make a little short story out of it and then people keep on sending it to random people differnant pictures and then post your picture on the therd and we all see what pictures each other got?

How about a real life scavenger hunt? For example, we have to find and share a picture of a real building or decoration that resembles what is in the game.

Have a challenge where members in a cooperative comes together to finish challenges (like collect eggs, apples, etc.) and get prizes. It's sort of like a cooperative project, but the cooperatives are competing against each other! The more challenges that cooperatives complete, the more points they get. Additionally, as challenges get harder, more points are offered.

I would like to suggest a new 'CHARACTER MAKING CONTEST' in which big farm players can make their own character like Monty,Tessa,etc and add a catchy name to the character and an idea about where the character can be used
And the best character that is made in the contest can be also added to the game in the future

My idea is we need a button to put water all the trees in the cooperative. Beacause now the maxium members in a cooperative has increased to 75.So it's very hard to water all their trees.

An April Fools Day contest where we need to spot all the things that are wrong in a scene from Big Farm. Examples:  Steve has on the wrong colored overalls, Tessa's hair is a different shade or Benny wears glasses. The chicken coop has a fox in it, while the farmhouse is on fire. The market stand is full of chocolates, and the ship is a 17th century schooner.

Scavenger Hunt, Tidy Inventory, Cast Off Bingo? Not sure what you'd call this, but here's the idea:

Players provide GGS with list of items they'd like to delete from their inventories--I'm thinking about my way too many zodiac flags.

GGS announces items to be found and players send screen shots of the items on their farms.

Winners (random draw?) can delete items in exchange for something that the players would consider valuable.  Probably would need to have players send in a list of what they would consider valuable.

**Or maybe a prize to another game could be the option to delete unwanted inventory items (noted Greta handles the unwanted decos)**

Have an image with 8 different horses.
Our job will be to pick witch of the 8 horses will come in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. (you will pick those horses before the contest starts)

To add a twist you could give each horse odds of winning to determine our prize.
Even though a horse may have a high odds of winning, that will not mean they win. That horse may have drank too much water before the race, you never know.

Decrypt The Message:

Have hidden pieces of parchment that can be found by harvesting from the main farm. Each piece of parchment combines to fit into one large piece.

When completed a full code is revealed, this must be decrypted by players  (ie: by finding and using a cypher (Caesar cipher for example)). The revealed text can be a promotion code for a gold sale, decoration, etc. The first few players will receive a special reward.

The good thing about this is that it can be used across multiple languages without requiring an understanding of English.
